This place might not look like much, which begs the question. Why is there always a line? You know why. It’s quite simple really, this place offers some of the finest mexican food north of the border. Especially the shrimp burritos. You’ll pass by all kinds of taco shops on your way here that look all fancy. None of them even come close. Seriously the closest place that even compares is Cotija’s but that’s all the way by Saturn Blvd. Lastly the horchata and jamaica is legit here. Not gritty and not too sweet. Just right.

Usually this place is decent. But tonight had the wife pick me up a chicken torta… big mistake. This thing is disgusting, and now the place is ruined for me. Live a block away and I’ll never go back aftet this

Fair prices, bomb sauces, large burrito shells but I’ve had way more fillings, better flavors, and an overall better experience. The tacos are deep fried when you need a little grease bomb.

This place is the bees knees! Every time we go there they remember our order if it isn’t busy, the food is ALWAYS delicious, on point, reliably good. Doesn’t matter who cooks it or when it will be fantastic! Granted I get the same thing every time other people in the house try out new things and are never disappointed! EATHERE!

We had the vegetarian burrito, the fish tacos, and the albeto burrito. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The salsas(verde y rojo) were delicious. We tried all the agua frescas(piña, Jamaica, and horchata) all had great flavor and tasted delicious. We will most definitely be eating here again!

I’ve always said that when you go eat Mexican, if the beans taste good everything else will taste great. I have to say that these beans are probably the best I’ve tasted so far in IB. Also, you have to try the Texas Burrito. Words can not explain these dishes. Enjoy!!!

Very upset with the way we were treated tonight after trying to make a phone order. We called in two shrimp burritos one California burrito one order of rolled tacos. All we wanted was the total of the purchase so I can give my son enough money to pay for order. First we were told to call back and then when we did lady got mad and said no she can’t give total. Then I talked to a guy who didn’t want to give name and I explained what was going on all I wanted was total and he started cussing me out in Spanish. We cancelled order and never will we go buy anything there and will not recommend. Will drive couple blocks to Victoria’s Taco Shop taste better anyways!

It’s your typical Mexican eatery. To be honest, while the food is good, the fact is there are at least two or three other places with virtually the same menu in the local area all within walking/cycling/driving distance. I get my breakfast burritos here regularly and I’ve yet to be disappointed, but I can get the same burritos from Victoria’s or Conjita’s. Im not saying the food is bad, it’s not; but in a town so far south in a community where the options are literally Mexican food, or pizza unless you drive to Seacoast, it’ll take a lot more for five stars.

I am not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. I live right down the street from here — so it is a convient pick up on my way home. The last two times I have eaten their food, it has literally made me sick — I mean bending over the toilet sick. The first time, I didn’t think much of it but that second time, I was like OK. I will drive a little further out of my way to pick up dinner from now on.

I have been working down the street from this place fo a couple months and eat there several times a week. I love the bean and rice borritos. My work partner gets the beef tacos and says they are delicious. Prices are right and the menu is pretty vast for a taco shop. Th food is ready very quickly and they always give you plenty of salsa.

Good food and the line is usually pretty short. They have a full lunch and small breakfast menu. Not the best burrito shop in town but still good and in a convienent location. Also they have a decent amount of 99cent specials on different days.

I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in the area. This place has a small parking lot that’s shared w/other small businesses, but its never an issue with parking. They have a large selection to choose from and I think the prices are reasonable. I’ve only gotten their 3 mini tacos plate which is under $ 4.00(if I remember correctly). These tacos are not the mini I was expecting, so you’re actually getting a lot of food for them being«mini», but hey, I’m definitely NOT complaining! :D The carne asada mini tacos are filled w/meat, onions, cilantro, and they give you limes on the side. If you’re dining there and want salsa, they’ll hand you the bottles to take w/you to the table. If you’re thirsty, get the Jamaica drink… it’s red and delicious. The interior is small, but you’re really just there to eat and then go. They have 1TV& outdoor seating available I think… OH and you’re also able to order from the outside from a window. Not sure on the hours or if its cash only(I used cash each time).

deep south near border… the mission, the burrito… bright red and yellow aliberto’s…dizzying stripes… enter to find tables and order counter… uno adobada burrito… roughly $five and three minutes wait… foil wrapped, salsa containers and brown bag… grab, run and drive… room, lock and table… unwrap glorious shimmering silver… finding toasty browned griddled tortilla… marinated pork, seasoning and guacamole… green and red salsa containers… bite through white flour wrap… burst of juice/grease…pocket for salsa pour… another bite and mouthful of pork… slightly salty, but good… pour of salsa and additional bites… no useless beans, rice or fillers!

Not a bad place for the area. They have a typical menu comparable to all the other fast food Mexican restaurants of similar titles. Some of the food items I get are a little on the greasy side. Otherwise, it’s pretty good stuff. There are a few menu items I enjoy getting on a routine basis like the California Burrito. One advantage is that it is close by work.

Love this place. Great friendly service and the best carne asada burrito in the area. California burritos are great and all the tacos are good as well. Also I’d recommend the rolled tacos smothered in guacamole. Yum. Being a former Bostonian, you can’t get Mexican food like this there.
