Thank you Kelly for all of your help today! I’ve been coming to the store since 05 and couldn’t wait to purchase my items. The cost of the items is about the average cost at any Pagan/Spiritual establishment. If you happen to be in the area and are in need of crystals, altar supplies, candles, and or gifts stop in.)O(If I lived in the area I’d apply to work here in a heartbeat.

This is my favorite shop in Idyllwild; I actually drive from north Orange County to the mountains just to visit this shop. The selection of gemstones, pendants, books, incense, and random little«things» one might decide to «need» is inspiring. The lack of the fifth star is for the older man that brings this store down. This place has such great energy on its own, but his presence just sours it. He’s followed me and my mother around the shop with such a grimace on his face, and has openly talked down to other employees in front of customers. Reading the other reviews reassures me that we are not the only ones that feel this way.

If you like metaphysical items like tarot cards, meditative crystals, incense, or other hippie stuff, this is a spot for you! There’s some hippie in me and I had so much fun browsing in this store. Best of all, their prices are very affordable! My friend got a cut rough slab of amethyst crystals with decent size and color here for only $ 2, while the store in the same plaza sells for $ 7/$ 8 and it didn’t look as good! They also have other types of tumbled crystals and rough crystals there. Some items look a bit ridiculous to me though, like the moldavite oil… How can you make oil out of glass??? Make sure you do your research about these items before you spend money on it. Don’t miss the stuff at the back of the store. That room has Tibetan bowls, figurines and clothing for sale. The people were really nice and friendly here. They also have another branch in Temecula. Make sure you also check out their bath and soap store next door. The Primal soaps are colorful, fun, smell good and last a long time!

Honestly, it’s not that it’s a bad metaphysical store, it’s just their prices are ridiculous. For a small piece of amethyst they charge .75 cents, and for other small stones up to $ 3. That’s RIDICULOUS considering that the other stores around them have the EXACTSAMESTONES, only more fairly priced at like .40 cents, which is more like it. The employees were nice except this old man who walked behind the counter all grouchy and was rude to another younger employee. There was a very sweet young man there, skinny with a blond ponytail and wearing a cap, he was super nice and helpful to everyone who waked in! !!

The sweet smell drew us in! Everything for pampering yourself! Lots of great smelling bath salts, soaks, soaps, candles, lotions, balms, and even some Kama Sutra! The gal behind the counter had a great sense of humor and rang us up quickly.

We love this shop. It has a great selection of pagan and fantasy items, incense, stones, books, jewelry, clothing, etc. The prices are just right.

Updating my review, each time we visit I am more impressed with this shop. The selection of Incense alone is very impressive, especially the low cost of them! There seems to be more jewelry selection, very reasonably priced. Love this store :) Another reason why Idyllwild is such a great getaway!

One of my favorite shops in Idyllwild! They have gifts for people from all walks of life. It seems every facet of the spiritual diamond is represented here! The shop has a relaxing atmosphere and a very positive vibe. I don’t understand the comments of it being«creepy.» I guess intolerance and ignorance sometimes can make people view other faiths such as Wicca, paganism, or anything other than their own as «creepy.» Maybe people are creeped out by statues of dragons or skulls? I don’t know. But I think the shop rocks and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable! They have a fantastic selection of books and I have been very happy to even find some treasures that were out of print! Great selection of statuary, gemstones, tarot cards, drums… gifts for everyone! I will be back often!

This store is enchanting and lovely, even for those who may not believe in psychic readings or that type of magic. They have a beautiful selection of gifts, books, journals, jewelry, incense, candles, and more. It always gives me positive feelings. My advice? If you have opposition to psychic magic, don’t let that stop you from appreciating the rest of the store. Ignore what you don’t agree with and appreciate the rest. There is nothing creepy about the place. It’s a calming environment with unique gifts and the ladies who work there are kind.

I love this shop! Celeste is incredible — wise and perceptive, comforting and supportive. Like seeing a therapist in a small window of time that you don’t need to explain all the details to — she just GETSIT, intuitively. And helps you make decisions accordingly. All the rest of the staff are lovely too — they remember my dog’s name and make us feel welcome. I love this place!

The lady who works here really knows what she’s doing. She is very kind and very knowledgable. I wish I could spend all day here and learn from her! She also let us in early even though her store wasn’t open yet. :) can’t wait to visit again next time!

This place is just amazing. A great assortment of gorgeous decorative items, healing crystals, jewelry, books, and so much more. I had a reading from the house psychic, Celeste, and she was so warm, comforting, and helpful. She gave me lots of positive energy and strength. Also, her hair is amazing. I bought some healing crystals to help me based on what I need in my life. All the women at Lady of the Lake are very knowledgable. I will visit here every time I come to Idyllwild and YOUSHOULDTOO!!!

Even if you’re not into this type of thing, the store is calming and smells quite good. I genuinely enjoy the clothing selection here. They also have some nice posters, and not just metaphysical themed ones. The book selection seems a bit lacking and this store has a lot of things that are overpriced. But it’s a nice stop if you’re taking a daycation.

There are a number of joyful little gift shops to support Idyllwild’s tourist center, but visiting Lady of the Lake, located on the second floor of «The Fort,» is a particularly uplifting experience. We thoroughly enjoyed taking our time browsing the store’s innumerable knick knacks, paper, apparel, and souvenir goods. Collectible goodies and motivational quotes abound throughout this new age, metaphysical, spiritual, and nature celebration store. Finding«Made in the USA,» or «Made in [a US city and state],» featured prominently on the majority of the items added to our general feelings of approval and delight. The store is on the right track, but one thing that might could have brought Lady of the Lake right up to 5 stars for us would be if we had been able to find more affordable gifts, particularly ones«Made in Idyllwild» or even simply«Made in California.» A glimpse into the highly developed conscience of Lady of the Lake can be found on their business card bookmark that features an inspiring quote by an Author Unknown(I looked it up to find the same quote attributed to Mother Theresa): «People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. LOVETHEMANYWAY. If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives. DOGOODANYWAY. If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies. SUCCEEDANYWAY. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. DOGOODANYWAY. Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. BEHONEST&FRANKANYWAY. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. THINKBIGANYWAY. People who really want help may attack you if you help them. HELPTHEMANYWAY. Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt. GIVETHEWORLDYOURBESTANYWAY.»

There are a ton of items to see in this store. From angel and fairy figurines, stones and tarot, notebooks and books, and an entire area full of hippie skirts that are super cute, there’s quite a bit to look at. Most things are pricey but that didn’t really surprise me for this kind of store. I could’ve stayed for hours browsing, but showed up 10 minutes before they were closing. In fact, the owner was already vacuuming when I got there, seemingly annoyed that I started looking around. She even announced a «3 minutes till closing» quite loudly. There were two other customers in the store besides me. And yes, I understand, it’s a small town and she likely just wants to go home, and to be fair, the other two customers didn’t even buy anything. But I did. I spent money. And it wasn’t until after she was done ringing me up that she actually seemed grateful for my patronage. For those who believe in this sort of thing, this store could be very powerful if only the energy took a turn for the positive.

Want a Fun Date — Get a Couple Physic Reading! There was a huge banner outside the store on the Friday we arrived. Being Spontanious we walked in to the place a little sheepishly, not wanting to offend if it was expensive. The lady, not sure she was physic enough to know we were curious about the reading, she was friendly and told us about the couple reading ½ hour for $ 50.00. Virginia did our reading, she made us both feel at home with her good sense of humor, observations and reading of the Tarot! To answer your burning question yes most of reading did come to pass in the next 10 days!

Fairies, dragons, crystals and crystal balls, gnomes(not the garden variety), candles, incense. I have throwback memories of the Haight(as in Ashbury in SF) when I enter this store. Half of it is devoted to trinkets and mystical/magical paraphernalia, the other half to throw back hippie clothes. Cute store that feels almost like a faux museum. I love the unique collection of greeting cards. It is a must see place while you are in Idyllwild. They are on the second story of The Fort.

I’m a natural witch, so I was really excited to find this place. It’s not always easy to find shops that cater to people like myself, and to find one in this tiny hamlet was a miracle. Or so I thought. They have a good selection of tarot cards and supplies, but their prices are high for what you’re getting. They also have a very large book selection which was enjoyable to browse through. I applied for a reading position(the cards, not books), and the only thing they didn’t want was a security clearance. The woman who owns the place is a raving bitch, and her husband is sullen, nasty, and watches you like you’re going to steal something. Maybe he was afraid I was going to put a curse on the place. NOTRECOMMENDED. It was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had.
