AstroCamp

This is my sons second time to Astrocamp and I had the opportunity to chaperone this time. It was an amazing experience — far better than the camps I went to as a kid. Very well organized, and a perfect balance between fun and learning. This is the type of setting that makes kids WANT to learn. It sparked an interest in science for my son and he bonded closer with his classmates. The activities were interesting, the teachers were knowledgeable and the experiments were fun. We learned about lasers, elements, gases, sound waves, solids liquids gases, used dry ice and liquid nitrogen for some experiments, and of course looked through several telescopes. I can’t even remember all the things we did.
The facilities were like being on vacation in the mountains. Very clean and well maintained.
The kids were all very tired at the end of every busy day. We did zip lining, a sky swing (liked this even better than the zip line), rock climbing, basketball and handball.
I would highly recommend this camp and look forward to brining my other kid next year.

I have been to Astrocamp 6 years in a row. I have nothing but amazing stories from this place. If anyone is thinking about going to Astrocamp, then DO IT!!! You will not regret it at all and if its for you kids then they will thank you for ever.

My daughter has been going to Astrocamp since she was 11 and has loved every day of it. She has made life long friends and amazing memories.

Forget Disneyland, this is hands down, no questions asked, the greatest and happiest place on earth

Awhile ago I came here as a chaperone for one of my kids. I was really impressed with how the whole camp was run. All of the consolers were very nice to the kids and the kids liked talking and working with them. The dorm rooms that we stayed in were very nice and clean and they had some great food. When my younger son is old enough to go I will definitely chaperone

Best summer ever! Zip lining, simulators pretty much anything you can have fun with. All the councellers are super nice. You can’t go wrong with ASTROCAMP!!!

Greatest times back when I was in the 6^th grade (23 now!) there was EVERYTHING you can do that was fun and educating, Lots of laughs and unmemorable moments, the breakfast was the best! The «white wall light room» was interesting still wonder on how the walls were glowing after that flash? We made our own rockets out of 2 liters and shot it up to the sky, the gas room where we played with difference gasses was really cool. By far memorable moments, and it would not have been like that if we didn’t have the coolest chaperones. Water fights and walking back alone and scaring some good people in the woods was just was the Doctor ask for. Thank you for the wonderful moments!

My daughter went here with her school. and had a wonderful time. I know she was safe and was well cared for! She was fed well and I would have no problem sending her here again! Very happy this camp exists and has such great reviews, as I would have been nervous to send her! After reading reviews I knew she would enjoy it and I had nothing to worry about!

It was my first time last week. I was one of the Chaperone with 5^th grade Kester Elementary Magnet class.
The kids had a great time, the classes were engaging, and their entire staff were awesome!
I would recommend to any children, and parents looking to engage their kids in a much more interactive environment.

They do an amazing job out there. I gave a guest lecture at the camp and was toured around the camp by Larry and was warmly greeted by everyone there (office staff, counselors, cooks, maintenance workers, everyone!). They’re a great crowd and love what they do and they do it well!

I love Astrocamp. I used to go to their summer camp every summer as a kid, and then worked there last year. Send your kids here. They will have fun, learn some awesome science, and be well cared for by the amazing staff.
