History

Established in 1978.

John Johnson and Steve Markham acquired the business equipment division of a Pocatello Idaho business Stevens Stationers.

Later the Idaho Typewriter Exchange (ITEX) of Idaho Falls was acquired as well assets of Pocatello Office Systems. Both were originally part of a five store 60+ year old chain owned by a successful Idaho businessman. Lud Pollak

Idaho Business Systems became an Idaho corporation (IBSI) in 1998
