Allison is great what she does and so is her staff I always walk into that salon knowing I was welcome and in good hands. Even like tonight when I had to stop in at the last minute for a quick haircut because I wanted to look my best for a formal date I was going out on. Alison always works with me and is always going to give me the best version of hair I need. not necessarily what I want. Sometimes it’s good to give your stylist creative liberty and look at and figure out what they think looks best on you.
The one of the reasons why like to refer my business here at AustinKade is because of the great work that they do in community outreach. Last weeks they raised over $ 13,000 for a women’s shelter called The Haven. They Do this by doing a hair show and by having fun. it’s what they do best… hair and fashion. and fun.
These kids, they are required to log a huge amount if hours for their license. Some of them are going to school at night, working jobs during the day, and juggling family In between. And even after all of that, but before the much needed sleep and deserved downtime, they put the welfare of the haven women’s shelter guests first… before their own wants. This inspiration comes from the top. I know the wonders love and care about their students. It shows in how the students reach out to others.
And it’s not just some hair event… it’s a fun event. Their students spend hundreds of hours in prep making costumes. It’s a labor of love and it shows at the Hair Show. It was Rock and roll stars this year, and it was a lot of fun. You can tell when people do something good for other people because they should, or because they really love them. There was nothing but love. And another thing with mentioning is all the money goes to the shelte, operating in labor costs are taken care of by AustinKade.
They are only in it for the love.
And speaking of love I got haircut a half an hour after the school was supposed closed because they know what’s most important to me, and they make me feel like I’m important. And it probably doesn’t hurt that they only live a couple of blocks away from the school.

This is the highest quality beauty school I have seen. They teach the latest techniques and teach their students how to run their own business, so the service is excellent. They are also up on technology so things run smoothly and efficiently. I am so impressed with how this school is run. Thanks for what you are doing for our next generation of entrepreneur stylists.
