Boynton Beach School of Music and Dance

Brought my three month old daughter here for a group class and really enjoyed it. Diane is a wonderful teacher. My daughter, being the age she is, enjoyed at first, then had a mini-​meltdown, then fell asleep — but she was tired and hungry as three month olds can be. The teacher was very welcoming and it was nice to be in the class with other moms and children of varying ages. We will be back!

For starters 100% of the applicants from the Boynton Beach School of Music and Dance were accepted at the BAK Middle School of the Arts in 2013.
My daughter takes private vocal lessons and is doing BAK prep work. So I cannot speak to the dance classes.
I can really see an improvement in her pitch, range, and overall vocal singing abilities. As my daughter is going into middle school next year I hope her hard work pays off with an acceptance to BAK, and the staff cares greatly about helping with this.
The price was better than I expected and can change based on tailoring the lesson to the student; singing and guitar, piano only, singing piano and guitar (there is a student who does this), 30 minutes, 60, 90 minutes, etc. you get the point.
The staff is very friendly and make the lessons fun and the kids seem to stay engaged and have a great time.
Rescheduling and finding alternate times is always attempted but not always possible, that would be too big an expectation for alway, they have lives too. We have not had a problem finding alternate dates or times so this has not been a worry.
My son and daughter participate in musical productions the school produces, and they both love it. Giving the gift of the arts is truly embraced and if your kid (s) have an interest this is a great fun place!
