Don’t waste your money or appetite at the shitnobbon. I just spent 30 godforsaken dollars on a bacon cheese burger and chicken tenders. I could forgive the bland food and outrageous price if they weren’t so bold as to put 5 damn fries in a Styrofoam container and call it a side ($ 3.75). They should bulldoze this hillbilly watering hole.

It’s a total dive with some 50+ trailer trash as the only patrons.

When I was living in NY a few years back (okay 7 years back), this was the place to be for people my age. It was your typical dive bar that all the students from the CIA went to after school. I had my first drink here — First ever (22 years old) — It was a Kamikaze on the rocks. I was loyal to that drink for 5 solid years — I don’t know what I was thinking.
Anyway — this bar has great (and the friendliest) bartenders, solid food («Best Hamburgers in Town» was their slogan) and great bands playing on the weekends.
Some of my best memories are included in this place; My hang out spot with my 2 best friends; meeting up after work to hang out with my old BF and drink our troubles away; playing Foosball with the other patrons; turning red when I realized I wore a see through blouse with no bra and my friend failed to mention this to me until 2 hours of darts and beer, getting up on the tabletop for a shot — and seeing my BF put his hands in his face, shaking his head but then cheering me on ’cause he accepted that I was a total dork.
I even somehow managed my blond bestie to date an Asian boy from San Jose –but it only lasted 3 hookups — she just couldn’t be turned all the way to the Asian way — but the alcohol from here helped a little.
Can’t say enough about this place — it’s not just a bar or a restaurant to me — It’s a home away from home — and NO, I’m not an alcoholic…
If your in the town, you definitely need to check this place out… Off to my AA meeting now…
