History

Established in 2002.

ETTE is a small, minority owned business that provides IT technical support and consults small businesses throughout Washington, D.C. In 2002, Lawrence Guyot founded ETTE (Empowerment Through Technology and Education) to empower other organizations to become more efficient through proper technology implementation. The company has grown into a leading provider of IT solutions for many small businesses and non-​profits in the area.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Lawrence Guyot is a native Washingtonian. He grew up in Ledroit Park and attended both public and private schools in the District. He is a second generation entrepreneur. After attending college in upstate New York, he worked with non-​profits, Silicon Valley start-​ups, and private companies. In 2002, he started his own business, ETTE, and has continued to operate independently since then. He is happily married and has two beautiful little girls.
