DaVi Nails

This place is located inside of Walmart. I called on a Thursday and they told me to come right in.
Not the cleanest place in the world but you get what you pay for here. I was seen right away. My services took just over an hour. I got a manicure and a pedicure. My lady was super detailed making sure that there was not a mm of cuticle left on my nail. The paint job was nice. They also had a great selection of gel colors. My complaints are that I told the lady she did not buff my nails well enough and I was correct because they kept snagging onto things over the next couple of days leading to my nails to break. She also told me that my pedicure was dry and when I got home they ended up being smudged. My fault too for not bringing flip flops.
Not sure I would go again but they were pleasant.

I’ve never ever gotten my nails done at Walmart before, but I will be now!

I had been looking for a nail place that does great designs and has great customer service. I’m so happy my friend recommended DaVi Nails. They are great. My nail tech Donny is the best. He’s so creative and his designs are amazing. My nails can literally last up to 6 – 7 weeks. Please go see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been searching for a few years for an amazing nail tech. The search is finally over. I’m soo in love with my new nail tech! Ladies you must see Donny. He is extremely talented and creative!

I love this place! I’ve been here twice now. Both times on a Saturday, during a busy time of the day, and despite all that, they still were able to assist me immediately as a walk in. Both times, I’ve gotten a gel manicure and a pedicure. I’ve had two different nail techs and both have been very pleasant to work with. I love how they have already picked out a selection of gel polishes that have a matching color in regular polish. I don’t require my nail colors to match, but it is a very nice bonus to have this so conveniently available without having to figure it out myself.
I have very calloused feet and opted for the callous removal the first time and then the deluxe pedicure the second time. My feet look much much better now! Perfect for summer sandal weather. I also had some nail art done on my toes and it looks awesome!
My first gel manicure lasted 3 weeks! I am only a few days into this second one, but it is holding up well also.
One thing that really wows me about this salon is the level of personal attention you receive. Everyone there is very friendly.
This most recent visit, the nail tech asked if I would also like a brow wax and I am so glad I said yes. They did an absolutely amazing job! I don’t think I’ve had an eyebrow wax make me look THIS good in years. I’m truly very impressed. I used to get this done at my hair salon, but I know where I will be getting it done now.
This shop is also very honest and courteous to their customers. On my last nail visit, I had lost a ring that was very special to me while there. They took down my name and number to call me back when they found it. A few days later, they did find it! It had just fallen between some of the spa chairs. They reached out to me as they said they would and I am happily reunited with a very special family heirloom. Thanks!
If you want great nail service, fast service, personal attention, and a very honest shop, come here! I know I’ll be coming back.

Came across this place on Unilocal.My nails actually turned out great. The technician (didn’t appear to be the owner) did a fantastic job! But the place isn’t very spacious or clean. And the owner came off as a bit rude (immediately asked me «what you want» before saying «hello») when I walked in. I also asked the technician to clean each instrument before she did my nails.

After moving back to the Hyattsville area I was in a desperate search a nail salon close to home after searching reviews on here I decided to give this place a try. They’re conveniently located in the Walmart on 450. The first time I went a lady named Angie did my pedi, full set, and brows. The pedi was amazing as I got to pick what kind I wanted off the menu, full set was lovely and she did my brows to perfection. The next time I got the AMAZING Donny. The way he did my fill in without rush and paying attention to the small details I knew I found my new permanent nail tech. His designs and rhinestone art are all gorgeous. Went again yesterday and he gave me exactly what I wanted with a little freestyle of his own in the rhinestone work. If you’re in the area (or not) definitely give this place a try. So worth it.

I’ve been going to Donnie for nearly two years now and I’m always satisfied with his work and would recommend to anyone who wants fantastic and fabulous nails go to Donnie.

I went to this place because of the reviews and pictures I saw here on Unilocal.Unfortunately, I will not be back to this place at all.
The staff was friendly, and after seeing the design I wanted (polish and rhinestones on one nail on each hand) they said they could do it.
Well, my nails look horrible. She struggled putting on the rhinestones and it looks like she just threw it on there. You can also see the glue all over and under nails and spots of nail polish on my hands. This was the sloppiest nail job I’ve ever had done.
She also kept telling me how uneven my eyebrows were, which actually weren’t, but I agreed to let her do them. She basically waxed most of my eyebrows off and now I’ll have to draw the on until they grow back.
This was the sloppiest nail job I ever had done, and the bad eyebrow job just put the icing on the cake. Thanks for wasting my time and $ 50.

Donny is very talented. I will definitely be back in 2 weeks. I have FINALLY found my new nail salon!

I have been a customer of DaVi Nails since they opened years ago. They are conveniently located inside the Walmart at Capital Plaza.
I get my nails, my eyelashes, my eyebrows, and pedicures done on a regular basis.
The shop is very clean and sanitary. The staff is very warm and friendly and makes you feel at home the moment you walk in tbe door.
All the staff members are highly skilled, but my favorite is Donghi. He is extremely talented and creative.
My nails are very long and he always does exotic, one of a kind, free hand desgns on my nail which are admired by all who come in contact with me.
My nails, whether I use gel or acrylic actually last about 6 – 7 weeks before they need to be redone. My eyelash extensions last 3 – 4 weeks. Absolutely Amazing!

I tried this salon out twice. The first time I did not like it, they didn’t lay the acrylic on my nails right and it was a very fast job. The second time I stopped by and was sweated with Donny, he is awesome!

I’ve been going to this nail salon which is located inside Walmart for 10 months now. I originally found Donny (my nail tech) on IG (dd_​nails). HE IS AMAZING!!! His work has lasted up to 6 weeks on me. I love that he is always creative & if you see a design online that you would like he can re-​create it as well. You will def get your monies worth with him.

I have been looking for the perfect nail shop for awhile now and this salon is the perfect one for me. The lady MyLee that I worked with was very nice, she did wonderful on my designs, she handled my hands carefully and her hours were very convenient for me! I just set my next appointment!

I visited the shop a week ago (¹⁰⁄₃₁). I had made an appt with MyLee, she was great and very personable. I like that she took her time to make sure that I was pleased with my experience. I will definitely go back. I am sooooooo happy I have a new nail tech.
