History
Established in 1988.
The Fabric Loft was founded by Richard Elwell in 1988 in Milton Massachusetts as a custom boat interior and top builder. Today Richard’s son Todd owns the company and our primary business is both residential and commercial upholstery. Richard’s other son Jared also works in the company.

Todd E.
Business Owner
2001 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in business managemet. Todd was also a scholarship member of the UMaine football team. Todd came into the business in 2001 while also starting a real estate remodeling company. In 2007 Todd started a textile importing company. From 2007 – 2010 he supplied most of Building #19 towels and fitted/flat sheet sets. He also supplied hospitals and hospital supply companies with towels, fitted sheets, flat sheets, Dr. coats, and all textile products. At the end of 2011 Todd founded VU Design in Hyannis. This is a high end furniture and interior design company.
