One of the best lobster rolls we had on the island. Fun, nice deck to eat on and great staff!

We had a family dinner here and they were very accommodating. I went for the signature lobster roll and was not disappointed. Thank you for being Awesome!

The hostess just seemed confused. We stood at the door for a really long time and nobody tried to seat us. They eventually figured it out and we did get seated. My husband enjoyed the lobster roll. My kielbasa was just ok — would have been better if it had been grilled. The singer was quite good and friendly — I think we enjoyed him the most!

Not very friendly or Accommodating. They were not able to tell us when we might be able to sit upstairs but offered us seating inside(literally freezing) or outside, which was not appealing at all. not impressed and would never eat there.

I’m giving this place three stars on the merits of its service alone. My server was warm and helpful and got my food to me quickly. It’s right at the ferry, so you can sit outside and watch the boats come in. But that lobster roll… oy vey! Smothered, I mean smothered in mayo. Plentiful lobster is a plus, but not if it’s swimming in goop. I prefer my lobster rolls with just a little butter, or even a little mayo, but the dressing toss really shouldn’t be the primary taste and texture in something called a «lobster roll.» Then again, neither should the roll, which in this case was cold and very bready. How about at least grilling that for a minute or two? And just a regular hot dog bun will do. You must grill the roll! «Lobster» «Roll» — emphasis on the lobster; just keep it simple, people. And at $ 30 I appreciate all that meat, so let’s let it be the star(«stah?») here. I’m sorry folks – those that liked the roll. Either I was there on a bad day, or you haven’t had a good one and just go on the word of others. Someone said it was light on the mayo? Do you live in a jar of Hellman’s? Again, service was ideal, so overall a perfectly nice place to be. If you’re waiting for the ferry(which is why you would go here and how they charge what they do) then I recommend having a nice beer after you pahk your cahr and get fried clams or something…

Excellent setting! We got the best table on the upper deck for a late lunch — 10 min wait! Fantastic Mojito & my husband had a great Bloody Mary. Raw clams and oysters excellent! We all got the Original lobster roll — lobster meat was very tender with very light mayo — which is a good thing — way too much meat. Go for the classic and save $ 10. You get your money’s worth you just cant eat that much! The roll left a little to be desired — but it’s all about preference. So glad we went — but next time I would get the classic size with hot butter.

Amazing! My hubby had the huge lobster roll and I had my lobster in a salad. Delicious! I could live on this lobster.

Service was terrible. Food okay. Forgot silverware, drink order, fries, oysters, and what kind of alcohol the bar has. Slow and a but rude. Lobster roll was good.

I had such high hopes. 1. Their lobster roll was massive and that’s great, but there was alot of claw meat and if you don’t grill the roll it loses its luster! Even asked for it to be grilled and was told they don’t have a grill. 2. Waitress was not existent, no water, no napkins and never asked if we needed anything until it was bill time. 3. Lobster bisque tasted like brown clam chowder with pieces of lobster thrown in. 4. Oysters were small. Reviee overall: wouldn’t go back, there’s much better places for the price on the cape.

Come for the outdoor seating on the water. You enter through a food court where you can buy food and eat it on the patio. Cheapest oysters I’ve seen so far in the Cape and in Boston. They were freshly shucked by a local sea dog at a $ 1.50 you are never going to beat that price.

Great location right by Hyannis harbour. Excellent lobster rolls, fab clam chowder, draught beer(Mayflower IPA) and free wifi. Great for an afternoon drink or while you wait for your ferry.

Come to this place for the HUGE Lobster rolls. They are $ 29 with fries, but there is so much lobster provided it’s like eating 2 meals. The roll itself was okay, but the lobster was delicious during every bite of the meal. Get a seat on the upper patio too and you’ll have a great view of the harbor while you eat. Seating is limited, so you might be waiting during peak lunch and dinner times.

This restaurant has just a few things on the menu, that means you know it’s good! It’s a small place with 2 floors. Upstairs covered deck overlooking the ferry port and downstairs with indoor and outdoor seating. A great place to have a nice lunch. It’s called Raw Bar, so we had to get little necks, oysters and cherry stones. We even got a half bucket of steamers. When by the water you eat seafood! Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. But I will say a little pricey. They specialize in lobster rolls and have been voted the best lobster roll in New England, many ordered it and it looked massive! Next time I’m in the area I will have to try it. If you’re looking for a low key place to grab a drink and a light lunch, you have to try this place!

although the lobster rolls are $ 30, you will not be disappointed when you see the mound of fresh lobster meat piled onto the bun. You won’t even be able to see the bun in all reality. Not only does Raw Bar give you lots of lobster meat, but the lobster salad recipe had obviously been mastered to pure perfection. Not a lobster fan? Their fried seafood is just as great. I’m a clam fan, and their fried whole bellies are the best I’ve ever had. Stuffed quahogs and lobster bisque also a must try.

Stopped by this place for the advertised Original Raw Bar lobster roll, which claimed it had no fillers. It had no fillers: just a lot of lobster and light mayo on a big bun. It’s not the typical lobster roll on a small hot dog bun. Awesome. It is the best lobster roll I’ve ever had.

A very solid seafood place. They have a great view of the marina and is removed from the touristy Main Street of Hyannis. Complimentary bar trail mix when you sit down which was nice. The classic lobster roll was very good, really could tell there was all lobster and no fillers. You paid extra for fries or onion rings which I felt could have been included in the price. Since it was a classic lobster roll, I missed some accompaniments to the roll like a butter roll or some lettuce or slaw; otherwise, it comes with some pickles and a small bag of chips. We started with he seafood sampler with two oysters, two clams and four shrimp which was decent. Surprisingly, the Jamaican jerk chicken(for someone who is allergic to shellfish) was very good. They were larger wings with a good coating of Jerk seasoning and you get about 8 or so wings. Check this place out if you can walk a bit further out. The shellfish were shucked to order at the bar and it seemed like the place had a good happy deal(½ oysters).

This place is located right near HyLine Cruises, so it is a popular stop for those that are doing harbor tours or coming back from Nantucket. There is seating indoors and outdoors, but I prefer the upstairs because you have views of the boats going in and out of the harbor. As advertised, the mayo-based cold lobster roll is gigantic. However – I wish I had gone with another reviewer’s advice and ordered it hot with butter. I wish that was an option on the menu. I find it is actually hard to eat that much lobster salad, and it actually was unappetizing at my halfway point. Service was very good. Our waiter even let us change tables when one opened up that was not in the sun. The drinks menu was good too, with some local options like the Whale’s Tail Pale Ale from Nantucket. Given that I am now a tourist(and ex-local), it will probably going to be a while before I make another trip here. While this is probably the best option to eat by the harbor, it can get crowded here and parking can be a challenge(you can try parking at the Hyannis Harbor Hotel across the street if you can’t find street parking). Overall, I wouldn’t say that The Raw Bar is a must-do in Hyannis, but it is certainly worth a stop if you’re already near the harbor.

Was our first food stop in cape cod, and boy was this the right choice. We got the classic Lobster Roll and Pumpkin Ale. Mind you my girlfriend and I both got one. The size of the Lobster roll, was indescribable, it was enormous, the biggest one I ever had, with tons of large lobster pieces. Also less important, but must be noted, our french fries were great and the onion rings were even better, golden and crispy, Two rolls with sides and two beers ended up being 60 bucks, but even in NY half a roll is usually 14 — 15 bucks, so the size of this one explains the price, and is worth it, at least ones.
