Eagle Towing Hutto

This towing company deserves no stars. The driver damaged my mirror. I informed the driver about my at mirror when we arrived at the location. The driver then stated «they’ll fix it». When I contacted the company I was told that my mirror was already damaged WoW! On top of that, the rep or whoever was very Rude! Hopefully justice will prevail. Pics don’t lie

After telling me they’d be there in an hour they showed up after nearly two hours. They also couldn’t process either of my cards. I would go with someone else.

They charge the $ 300 maximum allowed by law in Georgetown. Austin at least limits it to $ 200. Hillbilly, inbred rip off masters. SCAM

My grandaughter broke down on 130 on the way fron texas state to round rock. She broke down at the intersection of 130 and 71. We have Progressive insurance so she she knew to call for a tow. Progressive dispatched Eagle towing. The tow truck driver called my granddaughter to confirm the location. After grilling her on where she was at he got angry at her and told her he did not have time to search for her and hung up on her. She finally called me and I went out to see what was happening. She was on the side of 130 with traffic going by at 85 mph. {As an aside 2 sherrifs dpt. cars and one apd. car went by and did not stop to help. Thanks for keeping my granddaughter safe.] I called progressive and they dispatched another tow truck who arrived 15 before he said he would be there. He also had no diffulculty in finding me. If you have progressive insurance and break down make sure you tell them do not dispatch Eagle towing as they are the scum towing co. of Austin.

I have never been so mad in my life… My car was towed by Eagle Towing today (yes, I was parked for five minutes in a restricted area, I know it’s their job — that’s not what I’m upset about). Since I had left my car for only a few minutes, as I came out I saw the tow truck just pulling away with my SUV on it. A lady in the parking lot said she had watched them load it up and even took pictures with her cell phone because they had done such a lousy job in their rush to get it loaded up. She mentioned that it was a closed parking lot and the truck had to come back out of the driveway I was standing in to get out of the lot. Since it was a large parking area and I couldn’t see my car by walking around the first set of buildings, I waited by the entrance for several minutes for it to appear. When it didn’t, I walked over to another tow truck from the same company that was parked near the entrance and asked if he could call the company to release my car before they left with it. He called, but said the dispatcher would have to call him back later… then he disappeared — I assume with another tow job. I waited another ten minutes (I had my by now very sweaty and heat rash covered 10 month old baby in my arms which was why I couldn’t schlep around the large parking lot to find the truck with my car) before another tow truck pulled in to the lot. As I walked over to ask him to follow up with the dispatcher about my car, the tow truck with my SUV comes hauling ass out of the parking lot behind me. I run down the road yelling and chasing him, but he doesn’t stop. I go back to the other guy waiting near the entrance and beg for his help to just call the company and ask them to tell the truck to turn around. I can still see it waiting to turn onto the main road. He says there’s nothing he can do since the vehicle left the premises. I try to explain that I asked for help ten minutes before when my car was obviously still on the premises, but at this point I’m pretty hysterical that I’m stuck out in the heat with an extremely hot and now sunburned baby whose food, water, and diapers are in my SUV now disappearing around the corner. I walked to another tow truck (yes, the third one from the same company) and tearfully begged him for help also — he told me I had to call the dispatch number on the side of his truck. I called it and explained the whole thing to the guy, pleading for him to call the truck and ask them to turn around so I could get my son out of the heat — it was over 100 degrees and in the full sun. He refused. Said I could come pick up my car at the impound, and that the fee was nearly $ 300. If I wanted to wait for the tow truck to arrive there with my SUV, they would turn it around at that point and send it back for another $ 100 fee. At this point my husband was on his way to the impound place to pick up the carseat and bring it back to me so we could then all drive back to the impound place to get my car — so the dispatcher’s option would not have helped us at all. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT FOUR «MEN» FROM THIS COMPANY COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO SPEND TWO MINUTES OF THEIR TIME TO HELP A STRANDED AND OBVIOUSLY DISTRAUGHT MOTHER & BABY ON A FREAKING 100 DEGREE DAY. I FELT THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO GET MY CAR TO THEIR LOT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE TO GET THEIR IMPOUND FEE AND CONTINUE TO TOW AS MANY VEHICLES AS THEY COULD. I didn’t care about the fees, I didn’t care that they had towed my car — I know it’s their job. We just needed them to not leave the lot with my car. Which four people knowingly allowed to happen with a BABY in my arms!!! I will be sure to never use this company in the future, to tell everyone I know needing a towing company of my experience, and to never patronize any business that uses this company as their parking lot monitor.

Fast, friendly service is spot on! When my husband’d motorcycle broke down on the bridge at Hwy 71/​Hwy 290 in Sunset Valley, I called 5 towing services in Austin before I found this company. One had a 2 ½ hour wait, two had a 1 ½ hour wait, one just passed me off, one only had conventional towing. I called Eagle and was told YES we can help you right now. In fact they dispatched a truck while I was still giving them our information. It showed up quickly, the driver was awesome and extremely helpful. Thank you guys so very much!

These guys over charge. Confirm charge before they gook your vehicle. Just charged me 85 for a 60 tow.
