They changed their ice cream recipe/​mix last year. It was gritty. We haven’t gone back since. Disappointing.

Cash only! Open spring-​fall. I Love the cheeseburger subs and everything else here. Lots of deep fried goodies, and some wraps for a healthy option. We always make it a point of stop for icecream after a hot day of barnwork and its great that you don’t have to get cleaned up to go inside anywhere. The rotating special flavors of the weeek are great. Lots of the local farmers and travelers to the lake stop here and the parking can be a little tricky on a hot summer evening.

Ran across this little middle of nowhere snack shack when we were driving through rural PA, and we were incredibly hungry. This seems to be one of the few eateries in the area.
I had a simple grilled cheese, and my mom had a burger. Both were excellent, fresh and hot. They also have soft serve ice cream, and we had «baby cones,» which were really adult sized.
Definitely some good eats here.
