Not sure when* Woolley’s departed this location, but on a recent trip down Grapevine Hwy I noticed Woolley’s is gone. If you are still craving Woolley’s frozen custard the original location on Beach Street is still open( ). * Website says, «On August 28, 2011, Woolley’s Hurst location closed. We are relocating this store due to the road widening project of HWY26. We are currently searching for a new location. As soon as we find something, we will update the site.»

Woolley’s is a tasty treat. My favorite is their concretes, which are vanilla or chocolate custard blended with your choice of candy or fruit. Bonus: Their large comes in a souvenir cup! Yay

Every time I go to Woolley’s Frozen Custard in Hurst I am pleased with both the product and the service. I particularly like the concretes which are vanilla or chocolate custard blended with a topping of your choice such as Oreo cookies or candy pieces or different selections of fruit. I would suggest getting a concrete over a simple plain custard scoop. Their custard by itself is okay but it doesn’t compare to Wild About Harry’s in Dallas. However, if you’re in the area you should try this establishment serving a consistently tasty treat.
