Nice selection but mostly Moda fabrics(no other manufacturers that I found). Staff is helpful. Not many precuts if you are looking for them

The prices are about average, if not a little more. The staff was extremely friendly and not pushy, although all three women working at the time checked up on us. They gave me advice for choosing the backing of my first quilt and how to bind it as well. I adore the staff. I’m young but I was well treated and they got my business.

Funny how completely different 2 expriences at the same place can be. When I shopped Quilters Stash last weekend the staff was beyond friendly, and their selection-fantastic! If you want generic prints sure go to joanns or hancock, but if you’re looking for the good stuff this is the place! Looking forward to checking out their new 2nd location in Southlake. I wil def. be going back to the Hurst shop no matter what!

I disagree. This is not the norm for this store. I go here quite a bit and find the guys working there are always helpful. I am sorry you had a bad experience… good luck when you go to Hancocks down the street! Tell us how customer service or lack of customer service is there. The only bad thing I can say about Quilter’s Stash is the prices are a little high and the sales are limited. Their choice of fabric is pretty good. I really like the people that work there! BTW this review says I am from Ontario. I am from Arlington, Texas. Strange.

Thought I would stop by this lovely local quilt shop just down the street from my parents place. We’re here for holidays and I thought it might be a good time to look for some southwestern fabrics, some with a cowboy theme, after all I was in Texas and it might be fun to make a quilt with a Texas theme. I brought my mom, she’s a sewer too, but has never done quilts, and had never been in this place. When we got there, there were two customers, and two employees having a heated discussion at the cutting table over what sounded like yardage, we proceeded to browse, and unfortunately, we were never even acknowledged. We must have made the rounds of rows of fabric at least twice, and no one even glanced our way. I found the selection terrific, the pieces I was interested in had several design choices and colors, but without even a nod our way, I knew I wouldn’t be spending any cash in this place! If I wanted to have an-amenity I would buy on line! And that’s exactly what I did. We left without purchasing a thing, and it’s off my list for shopping. If I head back that way, I’ll choose Hancock’s! Good choice of fabrics, but with staff that ignores you! Not what I would call a good experience.
