Dr. Greg Amelung, D.P.M. began his education at Texas A&M University and completed his Bachelor of Science and doctorate degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. He completed a one year medical internship at North Chicago Veteran’s Administration Hospital followed by a two year surgical residency with the Resurrection Health Care Hospital System in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Amelung completed his training with a one year fellowship at Central Oklahoma Foot and Ankle Centers associated with the Oklahoma Podiatric Residency Training Program, specializing in complicated reconstructive and traumatic surgery of the foot and ankle. Following his fellowship, he continued on as a surgical teaching attending at the residency program for two years. Looking for new opportunities, he joined Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists where he practices all aspects of foot and ankle care. Dr. Amelung believes that his extensive training will help provide many treatment options f
