Nice place if you like Greek/Victorian Homes. Breakfast is excellent(Keish, rolls, sausage, tea, coffee, Scones, etc). Service is well above Par. They make you feel like home. They know the local scene, and have been running this B&B for close to 20 yrs. Lake and Pier are a stones throw away. Sandusky is just up the road and Huron has a nice Italian restaurant about 5 mins away. Do Chez Francois(15 mins) if you like French Cuisine and aren’t afraid to pay. Bed was super comfy. No TV’s,(Wifi but I didn’t use). Grounds have a pool and covered deck area. Even if it rains you can hang outside. Guests were super easy to talk to and there was a TV downstairs to catch the games. They have a fridge and full kitchen for your use(we ate out). Great place to spend a wknd!

I’m glad they were able to deal with our flight being delayed that caused us to arrive at 1:00am. I don’t usually stay at B&Bs so I’m used to the continental breakfast thing that’s available from 6 – 9, not be down for breakfast at 9:00am on the nose; although the breakfast quiches were both quite tastey. Also something I’m not used to is the intimate feel of the dining room; one big table so you’re face to face with the other people staying there… the dining room is also where the wifi works best from(pretty fickley from the second floor bedroom) My parents and I stayed in the Captain’s room, where 2 of the 3 mirrors were at chest height and the distance between the front of the toilet and a wall was almost equal to the distance between my hip and my knee… for historical accuracy because people used to be shorter?

The location is great, close to the many food options along the Lake Erie Coast. The hospitality is the key component to the stay. The Tann’s are informative and friendly, proud of the work they have done to restore the house but even more so of the area it resides in. The vast amount of information that have on the area was very helpful.
