Very well maintained. 30 spaces spaces nicely. Friendly staff. A couple nice walking trails in the woods. Lots of tiny ticks! Convenient and beautiful. High quality firewood delivered to the campsite — $ 2 for a huge bundle.

Not bad. It’s a little park, and doesn’t seem to have a whole lot going on, but it’s not bad by any means. We went tent camping(there are only 5 tent sites, but it seemed sufficient during our visit in mid-March) and had a good experience. I really like Arkansas’ method for camp site claiming. The have nice reflective signs at each site that indicate whether a site is occupied(red) or not(green), and you flip them accordingly when you take or leave your site. It seems that one of the tent sites has since been closed(which is why there are 5 now), and the bathroom happened to be at the old site. It is a short walk, but kind of awkward. Bathroom looked nice and maintained, showers and hot water. The RV site seemed pretty expansive for the size of the park. There are a few trails and a variety of outdoor activity areas(baseball, swimming pool…), and the visitor’s center was nice and had friendly staff.
