My husband and I visited Tower Palace today. I was surprised to see it empty because of the location. But we ventured on in. The restaurant is very clean and further sparked my interest in why no one else was there. So I got on Unilocal and noticed all the bad reviews, so I was hesitant but hubby wanted to try it. I ordered spicy chicken & hubby got spicy pork. First the wonton soup was brought out and it was delicious. Then our food came and the plate was full of rice and meat, and several other things that we weren’t aware of when ordering. It was all very good. I am shocked at the number of bad reviews on here, please give this place a try it’s worth it.

I do not write many reviews, but after eating here and seeing these ratings I felt bad for these people. I had honey chicken wings which were big pieces of meat and cooked perfect. The fries that came with it are my favorite type with the crinkly outside. Even the cool mugs drinks come out with make it a nice restaurant. They even have us a free corn soup which you could tell was freshly made. This is one of the better Korean BBQ places I have eaten

Thought this was«southern BBQ», but it’s Korean. The owners are probably trying their best, but this place is one if the worst restaurants in Huntsville. The building itself has a ton of potential and it is very clean. The décor is strange, mostly consisting of the owners hobby(wood burning). There’s also some French décor, apparently it’s because the owners daughter lived in Paris as explained by the server. There was fabric draped over the booths, I’m thinking they could’ve saved a lot of money and time by leaving the booths as they were. The menu was lacking. They basically have 7 or so dishes that they serve in different ways. I ordered the wings, they came out almost black and dry like jerky. The potatoes are obviously from a box and the gravy from a dried mix. The beans were like watered down baked beans, but still flavorful. The salad was good and attractive. The menu said the entrees came with dinner rolls and pickled radish but we didn’t get either. The owner was very nice, but this restaurant is simply bizarre.

I do not think this restaurant will last. My husband and I went for their initial«soft grand opening» and the food was tasty and plentiful. We went back and were sadly disappointed. I ordered the grilled shrimp lunch«special», and for $ 8.95 I received 4(yes 4) shrimp a small portion of fried rice and a small roll. That was it! My husband ordered the beef ribs and he received pork ribs. Again the portion was very small, and it was $ 8.95. The service is so-so. I gave 2 stars rather than one because the food(what little there was) was quite tasty. I really don’t mind smaller portions, but not for the price we paid.

Not good… at all! This place just opened but it’s going to need to be completely revamped if they want to last three months(my husband and I have placed bets). This place is so bizarre that we should have walked out after looking at the menu. My husband and I were excited for the restaurant to open as it’s nice to have a convinient place to eat on our side of town. We appreciated the many beer taps that were available with previous owners and hoped the new owners would make use of them. They did not. Instead of utilizing the beer taps, there were bottles of wine weirdly displayed in front of the taps as if to cover them up. We selected bottled beer from the limited menu options and the«waiter» brought three of bottles of sam adams to the table for us to choose from… hmmm…Costco special? Although we liked the beer it was just awkward. List the options on the menu or have it memorized but don’t bring them to the table like you might do at home when offering someone a drink. The menu was disorganized, confusing, short of options and definitely over priced. I had the wings(completely mediocre), corn on the cob(very over cooked) and mashed potatoes which were served in a lightweight bowl that slid over the plate. My husband had the«beef ribs». Let’s just say he wasn’t sure what he was served but it didn’t seem like beef and they definitely weren’t ribs. The rolls were even not good. Between the food presentation and«Costco beer» I felt like I was in someone’s home and they were serving what they could find/heat up. Our beer glasses were empty at the beginning of our meal and never once did someone stop by to check on the food or offer another beer or water. My husband left hungry as well. Plates were about 14 and 17 a piece. The décor was very strange. It looked like they couldn’t decide on a theme. There were Christmas decorations and a tree at the front door(the second week of January), pictures of Paris, outdoor pictures, beach glasses filled with something, personal art??? and strange fabric dropped over the booths. We saw two guys sit down at the bar and walk out immediately after looking at the menu-probably saw no beer taps, no liquor and weird food. In hindsight I’m jealous of their good decision. Only two other tables sat down to eat and apparently it was too much for our«waiter» as we never saw him after he brought our food out. We had to ask the girl at the front door who was playing with her computer for the check. I’m spending time to write a review in the hopes they will get their act together and revamp. It would be so nice to have a good or even decent place to eat at that location. If they want to keep the restaurant going though they are going to have to hire marketing consultants to help teach them the business.
