My first experience here. The people were very courteous and it was a very relaxing experience I was very nervous since I’ve moved here from Nashville glad I made the call

Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Beautiful, and I was thrilled to find a quality spa, being a transplant from DC. There were, however, several«misses» that not only prevent me from giving it 5 stars, but makes it teeter on 3. First, it was my first time there, and there were 2 young ladies at the counter by the door. I walked up to them to check in for my appointment. They were both completely disengaged. Neither looked at me, and the one who told me «go upstairs for spa services» didn’t take her eyes off her computer keyboard. There were no other customers around. Both of them looked like they didn’t want to be there. Not good service for a good spa. The woman at the top of the stairs, however, welcomed me by name and said she was expecting me. Much better! I was taken into the women’s lounge, which was lovely. There was water with fresh orange slices, granola, magazines, and a nice luxurious ambiance. But no tissues. I walked around in search of something to wipe my nose with and couldn’t find a napkin or tissue. Gah. Their brochure states to arrive early to be sure your session starts on time. I did. It didn’t. 15 minutes after my appointment, they come out to get me. No mention of the delay and no apology. Gah again. The session itself was good, but not what I expected based on the name of the service, the fact that it’s not described in the brochure, and they didn’t tell me about it when I called to book it. A top notch salon would’ve described it when I called for the appointment. Checkout was also unclear as to where to pay. The girls downstairs, again, were disengaged and disinterested. Their attitudes alone really reflected badly on the salon. Such a beautiful place… just need better attention to detail.

Terrame was a very pleasant surprise — my mother in law was in town to see their new granddaughter and graciously offered to treat me to a much — needed post natal massage. The spa, located on the north side of Cecil Ashburn drive in Southeast huntsville is in a newish brick building. We went on a Wednesday at noon and the place was hopping. They have hair and nail services on the first floor, and on the second floor is the spa. At the top of the staircase is a ‘concierge’ who checks you in and gives you a tour, complete with robe and plastic slippers. Relaxation room is small, but comfortable, with a big fancy water feature on one entire wall. There is water and tea and a big sofa with two small chairs, and weirdly they have a pub table with a chaise lounge behind the settee. When you walk into the spa, you have to walk through the relaxation room to get to the locker room, which I didn’t care for — it’s a high traffic area, and therefore not terribly relaxing. But — this isn’t Canyon Ranch, so not the biggest deal In the world. They have changing rooms, lockers with keys(numbered on locker and keyring, thank goodness — I always forget which locker is mine at the spa!), a shower, and all of the toiletries you might require. The hair brushes were obviously used often — had quite a bit of hair on them — which was pretty icky, but everything else was clean and tip top. There is a sauna — the portable kind, but it was nice to just sit in there and chill after my massage. Onto the service — my massage(60 minute Swedish) was with rachel, who was very business like and didn’t talk too much — which I LOVED. No offense to the folks who work at spas, but I’m not there to make new friends. My quiet time starts when I get in the car to drive to the spa, for heavens sake! For real. I love a good, quiet, soothing massage and Rachel hit it on the head. The TABLE. Wow. Went up and down, was wider than most(I hate it when I feel like my arms are going to fall off the edges unless I keep them plastered to my sides. Yes, I’m a bigger person, but not giant), and after she had me flip over on my back and worked my neck and shoulders a bit, the head part inclined a bit, which was so refreshing after laying flat! This, coupled with the cool gel — filled neck pillow, made for an awesome end to the massage. It was also much easier to get up afterwards — something I never considered before! Another nice touch about the treatment room was that it was carpeted — like a short, industrial carpet, but it was nice for muffling sound and warmth on my feet — again, never thought of it before, but it made a noticeable difference. All in all I found Terrame to be well worth the money for a bit of indulgence, and here’s hoping Huntsville gets a real luxury spa one of these days that could be a destination for the greater Tennessee Valley area!

I have been there when I was in Madison, Alabama. Compare to the other part of the town I have been to the price is decent. I had a very relaxing day.

Love salon and spa! They have excellent colorist and stylist. The spa is great! They have a great selection of products, and a knowledgeable staff! My hair looks fabulous when I leave, but I’m dead ass broke! You pay for what you get & it’s worth it!

This spa is pricey, but worth every penny. Everyone is helpful and the place is spotless. I have a stylist I like elsewhere, but have visited numerous times for massages and facials. I recommend the Signature Massage, it includes hot stone, swedish, aromatherapy & reflexology. Melissa is awesome. I always make sure I book her. Be sure to allow time to get there early to relax sip water in the lounge and stay after to hang out in the hot sauna. Heavenly.

This is a First Class place. The staff is friendly and the facilities are pristine. As a guy, I can’t provide a review of the many services. I just go for the massage. I’ve been going for over five years, and continue to return due to the exceptional service.

So I’ve been coming to Terrame for massage and facial. The therapist(Marty) is very nice and I like here. Even though they can do better with more treats(drinks, fruit or even chocolate) while you wait. I’ve seen less fancier looking spa place that has more«perks.» Anyways, I’m beginning to question their business ethic/scheme… I was researching for spa packages for mother’s day and found it odd that their package is more expensive if you just do a la carte. For example, the taste of Terrame is $ 265 while you add 60 min massage($ 90), European facial($ 95) and ped make over($ 60), it’s only $ 245. So I called and asked why. The guy said(sworn up and down) that the prices(package & a la carte) are the same. I was like, umm no and referred him to company website. He then went on to said the package have special services and probably why the price different. I asked what’s the extra stuff. No answer. Then I was on hold then he came back to said the extra $ 20 is for the extra box of chocolate with the Golden Ticket. BUT the Golden Ticket has expired… I guess when they did the Golden Ticket(free services instead) the chocolate is worth it. But why would you pay $ 20 for 6 pieces of truffle? So BEVERYCAREFUL when you’re buying packages from them and thinking you’re getting a deal. They’re just pile on some unnecessary stuff and you end up paying more anyways. This might not be a big deal to some people but I think it’s very misleading and rip off…

I just moved to Huntsville and needed a place to get color. A friend recommended Terrame and I’ll probably not go anywhere else. Jackie colored my hair and gave awesome service!!!

I don’t let many people touch my hair. Since I moved here, I refused to get my hair dyed because I was terrified of what results I might get. It got so bad that my boyfriend asked me, «Is your hair changing color?» I originally intended to go to a different salon for hair care, but stopped by Terrame one day to pick up some Bumble & Bumble products(they’re one of the few salons locally that sells a VAST line of BB products). One of the owners approached me as I was browsing, and we talked for a few minutes about the products. He told me to consider getting my hair cut/colored by Jessica, because she’s especially good with foil and he said our personalities would be a good match. Well, I caved in and finally did it. I had to wait about 4 months to get an appointment with her(she doesn’t turn away new clients), and was it ever worth the wait! Jessica is extremely talented at what she does. I barely had to explain to her what I wanted, and to be honest, my hair doesn’t even look colored. It’s the most natural, and she styled it in exactly the way I wanted. I haven’t used any of their spa services, but I definitely will be. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Just an all-around great place with good customer service!
