Great Chicago style fried fish and seafood. We enjoy ordering the whiting fried fish though I have been told the other fish are great as well. They fry everything fresh so you give them some time to make your meal. You won’t be disappointed. The hush puppies are good. The orders of fish all come with fries. The only place like it in the city.

Not a lot of atmosphere but the fish was great. Two large fish fillets with the lunch special. Buddy had 5 piece chicken and was enough for 3 people. Each of the fillets was almost the size of half a breast!

My favorite restaurant in Huntsville. Sharks knows their business and delivers every time … awesome food and great service. Unlike most fried fish and chicken places that offer you one choice of fish, Sharks offers several choices (catfish, whiting, tilapia, grouper, trout, etc.) as well as fried chicken, oysters, shrimp, sandwiches and a numerous of fried veggie sides. Try Sharks, I promise you won’t be disappointed … you’ll get a great meal and you’ll be supporting local small business!

Pretty good combo meals, I ordered the catfish and chicken tenders. The tenders was enormous and meaty (yummy), ended up taking it home. My first time having catfish, not too bad but I don’t think I’ll order it again. The customer service is outstanding. The majority of the menu consisted of fried foods from chicken wings, whiting, catfish, shrimp, etc… If you have a craving for «good» fried food this is definitely the spot.

I’ve dined at many restaurants (5 star included) even have a stamp on my passport but at the end of the day I’m a true southern country girl at heart! I’ve been here in HSV for almost 2 years. I’ve tried many restaurants looking for good fresh fried fish and shrimp, well my search ended when I found Sharks! Food is prepared fresh and is definitely worth the wait. The fish has a perfectly seasoned crispy breading that has never been greasy. I can’t say I’ve tried anything else… I can’t get past the fish and shrimp with tarter sauce, hot sauce and fresh «loaf» bread… I’m in heaven … The portions are generous and worth every penny you spend… Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

I finally tried Shark’s and would not mind going back to try out their other offerings. I had whiting and jumbo shrimp last week and it was really good. I didn’t eat the bread that came with the meal because it would have been too much. I also had their fried mushrooms which were amazing! Next time, I’ll get the zucchini. The only thing I disliked about Shark’s was the wait. Don’t go if you are in a hurry to go somewhere.

Shark’s is a «Chicago Style» fish and chicken restaurant. If there is anything on the menu which is not wonderful, I certainly haven’t tried it yet. They are NOT fast, and they don’t try to be, everything, down to the Buffalo Wings is cooked to order. The catfish filet, and whole chicken wings are fantastic! The only problem I have with them is really not their fault. Getting back on Memorial Parkway and traveling south is a real challenge. Their whole wings are battered in the same batter as the catfish, and are excellent even when cold.
