Welcome to Mathnasium of Huntsville! We specialize in helping students catch up, keep up, and stay ahead in math. Our customized learning plan is designed to address each student’s needs, whether they start out far behind or are already ahead in math. Additionally, we can help with homework and test prep. Our experienced instructors use our Mathnasium materials and techniques (The Mathnasium Method) to help children build an understanding and love for math. They teach in a way that helps math make sense.

History

Established in 2004.

The team at Mathnasium of Huntsville has been serving the community since 2004! There are now over 600 Mathnasium learning centers around the country helping math make sense to children!

Meet the Business Owner

Phyllis N.

Business Owner

Phyllis earned a Master’s Degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from National-​Lewis University in Stuttgart, Germany; a Bachelors Degree in Business from Wayland Baptist University in Honolulu, Hawaii; and an Associate Degree in Marketing from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Phyllis has taught Pre-​Kindergarten through fifth grade for over 20 years. Her experience in both the private and public sectors brings a wealth of knowledge in education strategies and techniques. She enjoys encouraging the educational growth of each child while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. As a proud military spouse for 34 years, Phyllis has moved over 20 times. She and her husband have three sons. The oldest, a UAH graduate, is a graphic designer and lives in Maryland with his wife and their dog. Her 17 year old identical twins are seniors at Bob Jones High School. One plays for the school soccer team, while the other plays for the school tennis team.
