Dr. Cahill grew up in Huntsville, TX and is the third of 4 daughters in the Allred family. She is a mother of 3 children. Dr. Cahill joined Family Hearing Center over 10 years ago as an office manager and then as a consultant as she studied at Lamar University. Dr. Cahill received her Doctorate in Audiology from Lamar University in May 2012 and then joined Family Hearing Center in June 2012 as an audiologist.

Dr. Cahill completed her Audiology externship with Dr. Ram Nileshwar and Dr. Kara Headington at The Hearing Center of Lake Charles in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she specialized in the evaluation and treatment of dizzy patients. She is skilled in a full range of audiological diagnostic evaluations including ABR, Electrocochleography (ECochG), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMPS), Video Electronystagmography (VNG) and hearing aid evaluation and fitting.

Dr. Cahill is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
