Bose Factory Store

Holy crap I love this place.
My wife was shopping in the outlet mall at Ann Taylor or something so I had some time to kill. I had no idea what I was looking for… until I looked around a little bit. They had these bad-​ass outdoor speakers that I was sure I could fit in the the car if only my wife would be reasonable and walk home. She can be so difficult, I swear. The sales girl was telling me they used to dunk one of the pair into a huge fish tank to submerse them in water and then connect them up and show that they still worked great but it was making too much of a mess in the store.
I did not realize they made DVD and video stuff but I did see some Bose-​branded players in there.
Like most places these days anything that is not sitting on the showroom floor has to be special ordered through the intarwebs. I asked for a set of brackets for some speakers that I’d bought a couple years back and they immediately referred me to the tech support number. Also their really high end «pro» stuff has to be done through this number if I understand correctly.
Oh yeah there is an awesome back room that is all set up with 20 or 30 chairs, stage lighting, digital video projector, etc.
