DOC Scantlins Imperial Palms Orchestra

Doc Scantlin (male singer), Chou Chou (female singer), and the Imperial Palms Orchestra (pianist, saxophonist, trumpeter, and trombonist) absolutely killed it last night at our event. These guys were so fun. Clearly enthusiastic about and good at what they do. We felt like we were back in the 20s.
Doc’s got the right voice and stage presence; he spins around, dances in place, and has enthusiastic hand gestures that just fit well with the 1920s big band vibe. And Chou Chou dresses very attractively, and saunters throughout the whole venue, lies on the piano, and interacts/​engages with the audience, too — all with that 1920s «doll» pitch and personality. And she’s a great singer!
And, of course, the orchestra does it pretty solid, too! We had a great time listening and dancing to their tunes!
