Nice cozy restaurant to bring friends, family, a date or wife/husband. Food and drinks/cocktails are delicious. Waitstaff very friendly. Upstairs live music was great! I highly recommend this Long Island establishment! Two Thumbs Up!

My husband and I came to XO with my parent’s for my dad’s birthday. Our waiter was Kyle and he was phenomenal, a true asset to the restaurant. We had a groupon for 4. The food was amazing, there was not one thing any of us were unhappy with. A great experience all together! Thanks Kyle!

I love XO. It looks deceiving from the outside, but the inside is nice and the lounge area upstairs is super cozy. The food is incredible every time. They put out this homamade hummus w the bread, I could eat it by the spoonful. The main waiter, Kyle, is almost always there and he’s super friendly and knows the menu inside and out. Parking here kind of stinks, otherwise 5 stars.

Great meal from the Price Fixe menu. The trio of mini-tacos were a very tasty appetizer and the bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks were outstanding Main courses were not over-portioned and well presented. The salmon and skirt steak were seasoned with a coffee bbq sauce. Burger was perfectly cooked on a fresh brioche. Lobster ravioli was nice and hearty. Best part was the s’mores fondue for dessert! Service was excellent. Highly recommend

Very cozy spot, It is a great date night place but I wouldn’t recommend going in a large group as you don’t want to be talking too loud overbearing others. There is usually some casual live band playing music. The night I went there was a band called 3 legs that covers the Beatles and they were very good. I ordered a burger and the bacon stuffed mozzarella sticks. Both were extremely good. One of the best put together burgers I had in a long time. The truffles for desert were succulent and unique but not all of them tasted unique. I recommend getting a bunch and cutting them in pieces to try them all. 10 unique flavors for $ 12 perfect for a date if you both love chocolate.

Shared some small plates with my husband… pulled pork dumplings, surf and turf tacos, coconut shrimp and bacon mozzarella sticks… all delicious! Paired with red wine flight, and delicious peanut butter tart for dessert. Great service and ambiance. Looking forward to coming back!

Went for dinner on a groupon. Service was very good. Bread was served with hummus, and just«ok». We had the bacon wrapped mozzarella appetizer. This was delicious! Crunchy and bacon-flavored. Stuffed chicken was very good, stuffed with spinach. Tender and flavorful, served with cubed potatoes. The skirt steak was delicious. Served with Brussels sprouts that were sort of plain, but acceptable. Crème brûlée for dessert was the high point. It was perfect! I would definitely return!

Came here with my best friend, we were seated quickly and got some smooth Pinot Grigio. The truffle mac and cheese was delicious, but the s’mores peanut butter dessert was a killer. Would definitely come back! The server was very slow and nervous, but otherwise it was a good experience.

The food here was excellent. We had the slider trio(my favorite one so far), French onion soup wontons, and pulled pork dumplings to start. For dinner we had to big eye tuna, skirt steak, and tilapia, which were all very good and well presented on the plate. The reason I’m giving this a four, though, is because we ordered two of the trip colored mousse and they only had one left, even though we were the first to sit, eat, and leave for the night. I got to try it and it was delicious, but that was disappointing. The other dessert we substituted in was the peanut butter mousse pie, which I wasn’t a fan of. Overall I’d recommend.

Purchased the groupon for four, all four were extremely happy with the lamb burger, cheddar BLT burger, the chicken&bacon pizzette and my buddy had the skirt steak with mashed potatoes. We started with the French onion soup wontons and bacon Mozzarella sticks. Good Music, Great Service and with the groupon under a 100 bucks for 4 with drinks and desserts. I strongly suggest XO wine and chocolate bar for your next date night or any night out for Good Food

XO is in a small building across a Waldbaums and near some residential streets. I was expecting something more intimate and dimly lit but the restaurant had more of a café feel. Not really a romantic ambiance, but it was cozy. My fiancé and I opted for the 3 course prixe-fix menu for $ 24, since both our entrees were more than that alone. The truffle Mac n cheese was very good & the French onion wontons were great too! The skirt steak that I ordered was really chewy and not very edible at all… It looks so much better on Unilocal. On the other hand my fiancés chicken rollatini was really yummy & I really recommend it! Instead of ordering two desserts from the prixe-fixed menus, our waitress offered us the option of getting a fondue for half price. The milk chocolate fondue was the perfect way to end the night, it came with strawberries, bananas, pound cake, Rice Krispies, pretzels, and marshmallows. In the future I think I will just stop by here for some fondue if I’m in the Huntington Village area.

Went here on a groupon and had no issues whatsoever. The groupon menu had so many choices that we had to pick 2 apps. We went with the bacon stuffed mozzarella sticks and the slider trio. Both were so tasty. We were basically full off those two apps. Plus the bread and hummus they served us before the app(the bread wasn’t anything special but the hummus made it edible). My entrée was the grilled skirt steak and it was cooked to perfection. The BBQ sauce was delicious. Also tried some of the stuffed chicken breast, also amazing. Went on a Tuesday evening and literally had the place to ourselves for a bit. Excellent service and great food. I would highly recommend this place.

Music upstairs. Quiet downstairs. Very good food and also good service I especially liked the surf and turf tacos and the lobster mac and cheese. There was more lobster in the mac and cheese than any other restaurant I’ve been to. Oh yeaah! And last but not least the chocolate fondue Ta die for! Really.

This is by far my favorite restaurant ever! Their food is just simply amazing. I am in love with this place. I have been here several times and it never fails to satisfy me! Their entrées are pretty big so you always end up bringing left overs home. Their pomodoro sauce is amazing. I always look forward to coming here. Their deserts are to die for. Homemade truffles, MMMM. The waiter, Kyle, is great. I had him a couple times and he is so nice. He really helps out during the meal.

I love this place, I’ve been here several times with my family and friends. They have an amazing Groupon deal for four people which includes two apps, four entrees and four house drinks. They have a separate menu for the Groupon deal but you don’t feel jipped because they have plenty if delicious options. I highly recommend the calamari which is basically a sweet chili fried calamari. It’s just the perfect amount of flavorful crisp. You also have to get the truffle Mac, just don’t question me on this one. We stuffed ourselves with so much delicious appetizer that I have a full entrée at home waiting for me in the fridge. :) Our fourth friend bailed so we were told instead of the entrée we will be able to order three apps and an extra drink. At the end of the night we didn’t use our drink but our waiter, Kyle who was very personable gave my friend truffles instead. The outside is a little deceiving because it looks like a long shitty hallway but the inside is lovely and the upstairs is where all the live music happens and they also have a full bar and a fireplace.

I don’t know what all of the issues are about the groupon. I came in with the groupon and had a wide selection of food. The drinks were limited, but it still was good. The service was good, the waitress was attentive but the food took a little while. It was busy though. We had the truffle Mac and cheese, which was delicious. Then, I had the skirt steak with truffle Parmesan fries rather than sweet potatoes. It was not just good, it was excellent. My friend had the XO chicken which she enjoyed as well. We also got a wine flight which was very interesting and delicious. Everything was very good overall. The only reason I am taking off a star is because they virtually have no parking. It was rediculous. Two good looking girls should not be walking in that part of Huntington late at night. Although, one of the store managers walked us out to our car which was extremely nice since it was so cold.

First– had a groupon for 2 ppl went with 3. For one entrée, one glass of house wine and one desert it came to $ 53??? They taxed the whole bill which should have been covered by the groupon for the most part. Food was JUST ok… Appetizer was good(pulled pork dumplings). My dinner(skirt steak) was not so great. Steak was chewwwy. My sister and mom had pastas that were good but no better than any Italian restaurant on LI. Service was SLOWWWWWW.

My boyfriend had purchased a Groupon for XO: $ 99 for dinner and drinks for four(up to a $ 220 total value) * Two appetizers(up to a $ 21 value each) * Four entrees(up to a $ 34 value each) * One bottle of wine or four sodas(up to a $ 42 value) We came here on a Saturday night with another couple to scope out the Huntington scene. My boyfriend and I had gotten there, but the other couple was running late. Although the Groupon was only good until 6:30pm, the host assured us that he would honor the Groupon at a later time for us. He was very understanding, I always appreciate that. Finally, about 30 minutes later, we were all seated promptly. We ordered a bottle of wine which was nothing special. We started with the slider trio(crab cake, pulled pork, and kobe beef) and the black truffle mac and cheese with lobster. The sliders were all flavorful, but the mac and cheese was lacking creaminess. As my entrée, I ordered the pan seared jumbo scallops with crab lemon risotto finished with white truffle oil. This dish was probably one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. The risotto was undercooked and the scallops were not fresh. I couldn’t even finish it. My friend, who ordered the same thing, could not finish it either. At this point, we decided to cut our losses and skip out on dessert. The only saving grace of this place is the service. Without that, this place would have gotten 1 star. XO has potential, in theory, but the food and execution does not work.
