I recently purchased a 14 year old car from a private individual and needed to have it inspected. Not knowing any mechanics in the area, I decided to try Ward’s Automotive. They were WONDERFUL! The estimate they gave was what was charged. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. They explained everything they did with the car and also gave me a head’s up about common issues with this car and how much those repairs can cost. I will definitely use them in the future.

My previous mechanic’s shop closed down so was unsure of where to go that would be reasonable and trustworthy. Looking at reviews on multiple sites I decided to take my car to Ward’s. They got me in the same day and were done before they said they would be. Unlike Tic Toc Tire who wouldn’t be able to take me in for a couple of days and I really needed my car. When I called the shop multiple times they always answered and were super friendly. I’m looking forward to dealing with them in the future…

I will not take my cars anywhere else. You might find a cheaper shop in town, but you won’t find a more honest shop. Really, the honesty is what keeps me coming back. I also love this shop because, even though I’m a woman, they don’t treat me like a complete idiot about cars(I’m a car nut and engineer). And when they tell me there’s a problem, before they do any work they’ll show me the problem, we can talk through what it is, we can discuss different options, and it’s completely no pressure. Oddly enough, it makes me so much more willing to let them take good care of the cars. They’re also one of few shops that doesn’t refuse to use parts purchased by the customer. I’m a real hater about repair shops and dealerships, but these guys have won me over.
