Waffle House

I love this place!!! I recommend for everyone definitely family friendly and has delicious food. I love being able to see the kitchen and every once in a while a worker is going through and cleaning somewhere. I love the hash browns. I give this place five stars because it was a great place and will definitely go again.

Like most Waffle Houses, this Waffle House leaves much to be desired. The floors are filthy (to the point where it’s distracting), and the tables and menus are regularly sticky, with little food bits on them.
We’ve been here several times (the price for a simple breakfast is very cheap); twice we’ve gotten fantastic service, but our most recent server was pretty poor — and quite lazy. She was in the bathroom when we first showed up, took her time getting our order, sat on her cell phone for a while, hadn’t cleaned the table, yet put down menus like she had (one of her fellow waitresses did it for her when we asked, even though it wasn’t her section), and didn’t give us our check or take our empty plates until we flagged her down after a while. She also wouldn’t even lean over to give us our plates, she made us take them from her, even though I happened to be trying to put on a sweatshirt at the time and clearly didn’t have hands free.
The food is unremarkable and very buttery. The hash browns are never crispy. But the eggs are usually spot on.
We’ll try IHOP or Shoney’s next time.

I love this Waffle House! I’ve never met a Waffle House I didn’t like, but this one I love. I’ve never seen such a group of hardworking people committed to a great customer experience and high quality food. This place is awesome. I know that I can go to this Waffle House and be greeted with a smiling face no matter what.
I always get the All Star Special and even when they think the slightest thing might be wrong they immediately offer to bring a replacement and leave the original. I also love the fact they’ve got an operational jukebox, but I know all Waffle Houses have that.
