Not only is this the best pizza I’ve had since coming to Huntington from upstate NY, but absolutely the nicest staff of all other pizzerias in this area. My girlfriend and I had chicken bacon ranch specialty and regular pizza, both were exceptional — unlike other pizzerias in town who only have good specialty or good regular slice. Can’t wait to come back :)

Friendly Staff is the only pro here. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken slice and it was horrendous. It was dry and barely about an ounce or 2 of breaded chicken. No buffalo sauce or ranch or blue cheese dressing whatsoever. Completely bizarre! Next up is the Calzone, it has about 5 lbs of ricotta cheese and ½ lb of Mozarella cheese… skip it. There’s plenty of great Pizza in Huntington, but stay far away from this one.

This has been a family haunt since I was a kid. I’ve never been crazy about the pizza(the crust is too thick), but I do have favorites. Their red sauce is gorgeous, and it’s especially nice when poured all over the broccoli rabe rice balls. Their meatball hero feeds two hungry people and again, that sauce! The lasagna is absolutely my favorite in town. So, though not a pizza fan here, I have to say that there’s plenty else on the menu for all.

Food is good, brought my 2 children in for spaghetti and meatballs. Fountain soda and a water nearly $ 26.00 for 2 kids size pasta dishes and those drinks. Pretty steep.

Best lasagna trays anywhere — very generous portions, made with cheese AND meat and comes with extra delicious sauce and bread on the side. You won’t find better than this!

Pretty good pizza, nothing to jump up about, nothing to run away from either. Decent enough parking, efficient service, comfortable booth. I’d go back if driving by and I was hungry.

The funny story about DiRaimo’s Pizza, across the street was a hot tub rental place. Back in the day, my girl friend and I would rent a tub, get a pizza from DiRaimo’s, a bottle of wine and chill. I married that girl years later. But the pizza! Always had a soft spot for DiRaimo’s Pizza. I went into get a slice with my wife recently. We both took a bite and said it was just ok. As Billy Joel once said, You can never go back there again… Meh. Thanks for the memories DiRaimo’s but see ya never again.

I know I’ve been coming to DiRaimo’s on and off for many years, on my jaunts to Huntington in the later ‘80s and onwards, and even at one point years ago in the early 1990s when I was working PT during college in Huntington, although probably in those days more often to the great Little Vincents on New York Ave.(Rte. 110 – there really was no good pizza whatsoever years ago, and still isn’t, south of the LIRR station, etc.). and the great Greek diner that used to be around the corner, more or less, which I believe is now long-gone. Anyway, I’ve come here the past few years again on and off for pizza or a fast hero, it’s always decent, affordable, if not great, and yeah, sometimes the service is a bit inattentive, rude, or erratic, at best. Tonight I got a chicken parmesan hero to go, it was kind of massive, a bit too large, but a good value for the money. I felt like a beached whale, a bit, after I ate it! Wasn’t the best ever, but certainly not the worst, either. I do like their parking lot, and they have a decent restroom and large TVs and all that, and plenty of seating. I guess there is better pizza in the area, but I still think DiRaimo’s is a solid enough family restaurant, although their overall«ambience» could be improved. I dunno though, I can’t really complain since I’ve never had an issue here, and the food’s always been pretty solid.

3 stars because they were my wife’s favorite pizza memory growing up. 2 for the thick dough, lack of sauce slice. LaScalla in Commack crushes this place.

I’m honestly shocked at some of the reviews here. DiRaimo’s is a staple of Huntington one of the best in town. They always have a great selection of slices ready to go and their heroes are absolutely enormous. The staff is down to business, but could use a little sensitivity training based on some of the comments here. Overall great pizza.

Location, parking, seating, etc are about all this place has going for it. If you’re looking for a quick slice fine. But the pizza isn’t that good and guys who work here are angry at the world. No thanks.

The Worst Pizzeria on Long Island! Poor service and the workers have«no couth», unprofessional and absolutely no customer service whatsoever! I even felt discriminated and I am half German! Will never recommend nor go there ever again… Horrible!

The money and houses out here are ridiculous. Same for the pizza at this joint, but not in a good way… guess mediocre is acceptable here for pizza. Been here twice now & there shan’t be a third, ol’ chap! First time, workers looked at me like I was an alien and said maybe 6 words total: «stay or to go?» & «$ 8». Tonight was the second time and it was like groundhogs day. At least they are consistent with their lack of hospitality… The pizza is always consistent, as well: Dull and doughy. It’s average at best. Tonight, I got buffalo wings, too. They were big, like A Rod and just like him, it lacked flavor and a soul. I ate one, which was hard to finish. I bit into another to see if the first one was a mistake, it wasn’t. I threw the rest out. First time ever. Just expect and accept .99 cent type regular slice quality, but 3x the price and you’ll be fine. Rob me once shame on you. Rob me twice, I deserve it, cuz I’m an idiot who waited till 10:30 at night to eat!

Great pizza. The broccoli and cheddar is my favorite and always have to get it. Staff can certainly be more friendly. I walked in today and the miserable guy behind the counter says«what you want» with the owner right there! Lol they are lucky the pizza is good because they certainly wouldn’t win any awards on service.

This pizza place is an average pizza place compared to the completion in the area. They do have a good variety ready to go in the food window which is nice to grab something quick. All of their pizza is ok and the people who work there seem so miserable. They need a hug or something. The one huge plus is this is the biggest pizza place in Huntington Village and has a parking lot so it makes it easy for parking and big groups! But I would honestly continue down the street a few hundred feet and go to south down pizza kitchen which also has parking, better pizza, and a friendly staff. Pros: Easy Parking Large seating area Lots of immediate options Cons: Unfriendly staff Mediocre pizza

Why Unilocal doesn’t have negative ratings I don’t know but without them you can never accurately rate this disgusting pizzeria. I’m sorry but I have to leave another comment. Came back with a friend because we were going to movie. I watched him eat because I couldn’t risk getting sick. I could not believe how busy the place was and it was not 1 fresh pie on the counter 12 mein working behind the counter and all they doing was reheating pizza that was made that morning. If you really like this pizza you need your head examination. I’LL just sit there and watch you eight dirty skanky pizza… Have a drink soda from a bottle not the fountain and dream about little vincent’s pizza the real pizza in Huntington. This place could not shine vincent’s shoes. Shame on you for feeding people this garbage. Laugh all the way to the bank feel proud you deliver the worst product possible.

DiRaimo’s has been a staple of the Huntington Village pizza scene for decades. A really nice place with ample seating and a friendly staff. The food? Excellent. Their cheese pizza is top tier, with a thin crust and a perfect cheese/sauce ratio. It’s always cooked to perfection, I have never been let down by them. Even after a 10 year gap between visits, they haven’t changed. Their specialty slices are equally great. The buffalo and barbecue chicken slices are to die for, the BBQ especially. Their ravioli pizza is also a nice change and heartily recommended. Easy to get to with great parking, they’re miles better than Little Vincent’s.

The pizza is absolutely fantastic with fresh ingredients, plenty of variety, and the best crust in NY. The staff is also friendly and the location is well lit, clean, and welcoming.

After all my years of going to Little Vincent’s & Rosa’s, I never felt the need to go here. Due to my companion’s insistence, I went. Line was very long. Cheese slice was made way too hot, even though I told the employee to remove it from the oven twice. Pizza was very greasy and resembled cardboard. Nice seating area. Staff was curt but polite. Bathroom was not clean. Lots of children.

I’ve been coming here since I was 3 years old. They are consistently one of the best pizza places in Long Island, and that’s saying something. In my opinion, it’s the best mozzarella cheese I’ve ever tasted on a pizza. Here are my top 5 slices: 1. Sicilian 2. BBQ chicken 3. Broccoli and cheddar 4. Veggie 5. Chicken roll The garlic knots also are off the charts.
