This is my absolute favorite place for sushi. Prices are reasonable the sushi is fresh and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Sushi is so good and I eat all kinds of sushi. Smaller size restaurant than the big sushi restaurants but this is where it is at if you want fresh delicious sushi. The thai curry soup is also a must try, it’s so good and full of flavor! If you love sushi this place is a must try, Christmas roll, dix hills roll, and chris roll are some favorites!

Delicious fried rice and chicken and shrimp casserole. Both have the freshest of ingredients. Sushi was also very fresh and delish… lover roll & volcano roll, both great. miso soup, was terrific. And they deliver!

I needed a nice, quiet lunch after a hectic morning and boy, did I pick the right place. Although not empty, the restaurant was low key and relaxed. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki bento box which was much better than expected. 5 large shrimp cooked perfectly in a delicate teriyaki sauce. Not the salty, over flavored stuff you get in a lot of places. Food was cooked beautifully, including the veggies. A wonderful meal, I will be back!

A definitely mixed bag. The sushi hubby had was delicious. The gyozo was very good but I got a lunch option that I was disappointed in – there didn’t seem to be a decent piece of chicken in the dish and the veggies in the dish seemed to outnumber the chicken about 4:1 – I know that many Asian dishes don’t emphasize the meat but I was under-whelmed. Still over all, I will be back.

You can’t beat the prices here, I stopped in for lunch and ordered two rolls which came with miso soup and a small salad with ginger dressing and it came to $ 8.70. The interior is swanky, dark with blue lighting, exactly how you would expect the interior to look, however it’s fairly small inside. My take out order was ready within 10 minutes and the ladies taking my order were nice. The miso soup was delicious and had more greens in it than I usually get in miso soup which I appreciated, I like when there’s some substance and not just broth. The ginger dressing that came with the salad was one of my favorites. I was surprised to see how big the rolls were, they really didn’t skimp with the amount of tuna and salmon they rolled in. The tuna avocado roll with brown rice(YES they have brown rice, big plus) was very tasty and filling! The avocado chunks were on the larger side too. The salmon roll is the reason for the 3 stars. I eat salmon once a week if not more and this roll had a smell that was a bit off and it tasted far too fishy for my liking. I was hesitant about finishing the roll but I did because I was starving and it left a bad taste in my mouth, even hours later it wasn’t sitting well with me. Perhaps it was a fluke(chuckle, chuckle) but maybe not. I’d be willing to give this place another shot, can’t beat those prices for lunch take out.

The sushi is fresh! All the food is delicious. What makes this place so special is their outstanding customer service. They are always so nice. Also one of the few places that the whole family agrees upon!

Perfect local spot! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the cracker tower appetizer, anne marie roll and passion roll! It would be absolutely perfect if they served alcohol, hopefully thats coming soon!

It’s incredibly convenient so I keep going back but trying to find good special roll at Azuma is like a game of battleship. They also don’t listen well for take out orders. For example in the last three orders I requested salmon, avocado and crunch inside. Each time they dump tempura flakes on top of the rolls instead of putting it inside. The last two times I asked them to repeat back«…crunch on the inside» and both times they just pour greasy tempura flakes on top of the rolls.

I was very excited for this lunch box I ordered. They were very quick to make it and I went to pick it up. Place is very nice and quite a change from the old place. I came back and unwrapped my meal. The miso soup was very bland. The salad was good. Then I opened the main meal and took a bite out of the chicken. This had to be the worst chicken I have ever had. It was mostly fatty bits. Completely inedible. The pork gyoza was mediocre and the California roll was fine. The chicken really ruined the entire meal and I regret spending money on this meal. I will not be ordering from here ever again.

So, Ivy Chen has moved on, but the business is still in the hands of some of the original owners and employees. The place is much, much smaller than the original location in Greenlawn(almost right across the street, where Akebono is now), but the sushi is still excellent. Also, try the Chilean sea bass, especially if it’s the Chef’s Special. The parking lot in front is small and hard to get into. Parking is in the back with a rear entrance into this tiny shop. Takeout and delivery options.

Glad Azuma is back. Just tried it after the reopening. Szech. dumplings — SUPERLATIVE! Very good Sesame Chicken dish. Beef N. dinner box was so-so. Still looking forward to trying other dishes. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Portions were more than adequate. One point, though, not sure if salad is included on take out orders as we did not get any. The menu does say the entrees come with soup, salad and rice. Will try the sushi soon

I have been a fan for years of this establishment. Azuma has moved and is now open again. I always order delivery from this place. They deliver very quick, 30 min tops. The quality of food is outstanding. I have always gotten the sezuan peppercorn chicken and it is great. The Scallion Pancakes are awesome and flavorful. The sushi is fresh and prepared with care. They pay very close attention to detail. Cannot say enough good things. I have not had one bad dish over the course of 4 years. Please give them a try.
