Julie Heidt – RE/MAX Vision

Julie is amazing… We were first-​time home buyers, and needed help finding the right home, to merge a new family together with four kids. She took a genuine interest in our life and spent a lot of careful time and attention to figure out, not only what our preferences in a home were, but also anticipating what we would really need. (Something we didn’t completely understand as 1^st-​time buyers.) She took that information and always put together a selection of properties that truly met our criteria, for us to look at. And, while she generally specializes in properties for Oakland County, she was very flexible in working with us to consider other areas as well. (Something other agents we talked to before her, refused to accommodate.)
When we found a home we liked, Julie was always one-​step ahead of the purchase process, and very proactive in working for us. She maintained constant contact with the seller’s agent to make sure our offer was seriously considered over other bids, in a very competitive market. At the same time, she was also great about keeping us constantly updated on everything, and giving us honest feedback about what to expect. During the purchase process, she also had a list of professionals (Inspectors, Title Agency, Mortgage Lender, etc.) lined up, that are highly respected in the community and she maintains a great working relationship with, to help get us through all the home buying hurdles. Unless we had a business we preferred to work with, she would work with her contacts and was able to get things taken care of very quickly. (And all the companies she/​we worked with did a great job too.)
Julie continues to work with us, even after our home purchase was finalized, last year. (With tax time upon us, she took it upon herself to send an extra copy of the purchase paperwork we needed, just to make sure we wouldn’t be missing anything, while filing our taxes.) She also stays in touch from time-​to-​time, to check in and see how we’re settling into our new home.
We truly appreciate the fantastic work she did and the wonderful relationship we have been able to have with her during (and even after) our home buying experience. Julie isn’t just a real estate agent; she is OUR agent for life!
