The first step in having control over your dog is to begin with our free 22-​point evaluation to determine your dog’s temperament, personality and trainability. Using this information, in combination with your goals, our expert evaluator will design a custom program for you and your dog.

You will work with a professional dog trainer with experience in behavior problems, obedience, housebreaking, and puppy training. We provide real world solutions that work. Any age and any breed.

Established in 1989.

Our company was started in 1989 in Charlotte, NC. Our philosophy is simple, get the dog trained for the owner. Rather than trying to prove that one training system is better then the next, our goal has always been to adapt many types of training to execute the owners’ goals in training.

There are now locations in 6 states. We keep our growth in line with our abilities to provide the very best service possible.

I have always been fascinated by the study of animal behavior. My graduate degree in Anthropology allowed me to study pack behavior, dominance and aggression in a Vervet Monkey troop. The Vervets are very social and live according to a pack structure that is similar to that of dogs. This insight into animal behavior has stuck with me almost 30 years. I apply it when conducting training for my own dogs as house pets and also when training them for the obedience ring.
