History

Established in 1979.

Tailored Events was founded in 1979 by mother & son, Rose Lau & Rich Lau. We began as Tailored Tunes Singing Telegrams, the first singing telegram company on Long Island and became known for composing specially written parody telegrams. Daughter Kathy Lau, current owner, quit her club musician gigs and joined on soon after Rich explained how much fun it all was. The balloon industry was just starting up also, so balloon bouquet delivery was an early addition and we soon expanded into balloon décor and theme decoration.

Family inspired, owned & operated, Tailored Events now celebrates its 34 Anniversary.
