Contact Lenses, including: disposable, astigmatic and bifocal as well as custom fit lenses. No risk contact lens fitting. We are leading consultants in Laser Vision Correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism on Long Island. We will help you determine if you are a candidate for this remarkable procedure. We perform evaluations for the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision disorders such as eyestrain, visual stress, lazy eye, strabismus and double vision. Identification, & treatment of vision related learning problems for adults or children who have been diagnosed with ADD/​ADHD, or have difficulty learning or reading, dyslexia, or visual perceptualdisorders. There’s more to healthy vision than 20⁄20 eyesight!

Dr. Brian Berliner’s Credentials:

1979 B.S. City College of New York

1983 Graduated Illinois College of Optometry– Doctor of Optometry.

1984 Post Doctoral Residency in Rehabilitative Optometry Residency at Northport Veterans Administration Hospital and Medical Center.

1986 Managed first two Doctors of Optometry located Inside of Lenscrafters in greater N.Y. area.

Practicing Comprehensive Eye and Vision care in Huntington (inside of Lenscrafters within the Walt Whitman Mall) and Lake Grove Lenscrafters for the past 24+ years

Board Certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.

American Optometric Recognition Award for Continued Education

State Certified by The Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped as Low Vision Specialist

My daughter scratched my cornea on a Sunday night and when i called monday morning, they were able to accommodate me that night after i got out of work ! I was so appreciative of the fact they they told me to come in when i got out of work. And made my follow up appointment that Wednesday for the same time. Everyone in the office was very helpful and caring and just all around great!

I saw Dr. Schnur to double-​check the prescription I needed for new eyeglasses (I wasn’t seeing my ophthalmologist for another month). He was excellent. Very good bedside manner and his exam was very thorough. I would definitely recommend.

My family has been going to Dr. Berliner for years and we have always had phenomenal experiences with Dr. Berliner himself as well as his medical assistants and receptionists. Making an appointment is an ease and I rarely find difficulty booking last minute appointments. The receptionists are patient and really kind over the phone which I find is a rarity at most medical offices. Their seating area has about seven or eight seats with good magazines and it’s conveniently located in the Walt Whitman Mall so if you have a longer wait you can stroll into a store and shop around for a few minutes. Dr. Berliner himself is really thorough and does a great job. I highly recommend coming here!

Have been going to this office for 12 years. Dr. Berliner has created a caring and welcoming practice with excellent optometrists who are very up to date on the latests products and optometric care. Dr. Berliner takes pride in his office and it shows from the moment one arrives at the receptionist. I typically see Dr. Grzesiak who is as fastidious about prescribing the right contacts as I am about the clarity of my eyesight. Dr. Grzesiak’s passion for his profession remains unwavering through the years. Highly recommended.

Dr. Berliner’s office is the best optometrist I’ve ever been to! It was the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever received. The doctor spent time with me and really cared about my vision needs. The office had more contact lens choices than I’ve ever seen, and the doctor took care in selecting the perfect ones for me.

I had made an appointment to see Dr. Brian Berliner at Lens Crafter in the Walt Whitman Mall because it had been a while since I had my glasses prescription updated and wanted to see about contacts. I showed up like 15 minutes early and was called in for some testing after filling out some paper work. The woman who ran the tests was very nice and explained what each test showed as she did it. I waited less than 10 minutes to be called in by Dr. Berliner. He compared my current prescription to what it should be at which was a real «eye opener». He carefully explained the differences (positives and negatives) between the different types of contact lenses that he offers and I settled on CRT lenses, which sounded really awesome because I get to wear them at night and take them off during the day. Dr. Berliner took his time with me so I didn’t feel rushed and seemed very genuine and caring to what type of contacts best suited my life style. I would definitely recommend Dr. B erliner AND CRT lenses for anyone who is sick of wearing glasses or doesn’t like having contacts in all day. CRT lenses have been a real life changer since I started them 3 months ago.
