Thirty5 Degree’s

I have been going crazy trying to find a place like this around this area and I finally found one. For the first time we tried Thirty5 Degree’s and I have to admit everything we had (my hubby and I) we enjoyed it. I tried the Chinese Wrap with a side of couscous and let me tell you the taste of it is like nothing out there very delicious. My hubby had the chicken club panini with a side of potato salad, that was another great plate the panini was toasted to perfection. I def recommend this place to whom ever is considering to try it.

I was here like 4 months ago, FYI. Food is delicious! Staff is friendly. Place is cute. Love all the healthy & delicious choices they have! I was only there briefly but was able to recognize a good business

The food here is great but the portions are pretty small. If you are not a big eater or looking for something light I would recommend it. However if you are like me and like to eat a decent sized portion this place will not do. Again though, the food is great but ordering two paninis and two smoothies for lunch makes me feel like a fatty… Ill go to white castle when I want to do that!

It’s a hidden place in the heart of Huntington Park. It’s delicious and nutritious. The veggie and chicken wraps was amazing. Definitely a great location for lunch

Finally a decent place to grab lunch near Vernon. Everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommended. My favorite is the BBQ Chicken Flatbread.

So I work literally just on the other block. It’s so hard to find a healthier option around here. I usually bring my own lunch to work because of that. But I stumbled across this on Unilocal and saw all the good reviews. I like the décor. Very modern. The menu is legible and easily understood. The food was ok. I had the BBQ chicken flatbread it was very dry. I had the apple bacon salad also it was pretty good.

They started off strong… Great food, great prices, good shakes and fast service. Our company moved to Vernon about 6 months ago and we thought «wow! This is a gold mine!» — A few of my co-​workers and I (about 6 people) ordered lunch almost everyday from this place… we boasted and raved about it until everyone at our whole company had the menu!
Then –Christmas season came and it went downhill. It started with the late delivery. They went from a speedy 15 minute delivery to a 45 – 50 minute wait. We figured, hey. You know– it’s Christmas time– it’s all good. But this behavior continued well after and it got worse. Delivery was now a whopping 1.5 hour to 1:45 wait! Ugh. Crazy right? You can just imagine how HANGRY I was!
Fine, we all said, maybe the food is just too good that they are taking too many orders now. Regardless, we were happy for them. Until.
Dun dun dun. We ordered one of the flat bread pizzas and yikes! Blending in with the veggies on the flat bread was this BIG fat leggy bright green insect the size of my thumbnail. It’s legs were all sprawled out, dead and lying on the sauce. We were appalled! We were refunded. But some were jaded after that «That’s a Bugs Life Experience»
Though some of us hesitated to order again from them, some of us still did. Which is why I have held back on my feelings .
The quality of food has gradually gone down. The lettuce and salads are very unappetizing and stale. Looks like they have been using days old lettuce/​spinach/​veggies. The breakfast soy chorizo burrito was my favorite and the last time I ordered it– the soyrizo smelled rotten.
They have also changed their containers for the shakes. The containers were much bigger and now the shakes are a measly recycled cup the size of a happy meal kids drink at McDonalds. WTF?!
We were just getting raped left to right here. Therefore– I’m sorry thirty five degrees — We will no longer promote your place or order from you.

Lunchtime in Vernon… What to do, what to do???
It’s very difficult finding a good place to eat around Vernon that isn’t a restaurant. Somewhere that you can just go pick up food that won’t be like $ 15 for lunch that is legit. So I wanted to try something new. I Unilocaled and found thirty 5 degrees. All the food in the pics looked so good I kinda couldn’t resist.
So I go down there and sorry to say, the parking sucks. I luckily found parking on the street. I got in and I was at the counter and I couldn’t tell if the cashier was talking to me or not. But she mumbled something and I thought she was talking to someone on her bluetooth. So I finally got eye contact and realized she was talking to me. I asked if lunch specials were on (it was like 2:15pm) and she told me lunch specials were 11am — 1pm. So I just looked through the regular menu and ordered a chicken pesto panini. It came with a side dish and I got fresh fruit. I totally went fresh and healthy! (Good job jack! {pat on the back})… I took it back to my office and it looked good, kinda weird greasy but good! I took a bite of the panini sandwich and man it tasted so good! The pesto didn’t taste like it was premade box stuff. It tastes like it was legit fresh made! How do I know? Well I love pesto sauce, so when I get the opportunity I like to make it at home and make a pesto pasta or a pesto sandwich. So I know when it really fresh made. The sandwich was delicious and the fresh fruit to finish it off was great as well.
So you wonder why 4 stars instead of 5. Well. The service is kinda weird. When I got there I wasn’t greeted, I wasn’t sure if the cashier was talking to me, and to top it off, when the food was done they put it on the counter and mumbled something. I had to go to the counter and ask if that was mine and he shook his head. If they were a little more… Loud/vocal…(I guess???), It would be totally a five star place! A place like this is definitely needed near Vernon! If you eat there, I highly doubt you’ll be disappointed. Try it out if you’re in the area!

I came on a Friday around lunch time (12 – 12:30pm) It was packed with people. It’s a small place, 4 – 5 small tables and a counter with a couple of stools to sit in. I ordered a Chicken Club panini and a shake to dine in. Paninis come with a side of your choice. I choose a house salad.
Despite the line of people (mostly to go orders) and phones ringing… I got my phone in a reasonable amount of time (10 – 15 mins). The decorum is simple and a bit on the hipster side (small box of cooking books, chalkboard full of colorful texts and drawings. Etc)
The panini was pretty good, light and fresh. So was the shake. forget the name… It had banana, berries, yogurt and almond milk. It was refreshing on a hot day like this. I’d recommend this place to everyone especially vegan /​vegetarian friends. Neat little place in Vernon /​HP area.

First time here. My co-​workers and I were looking for something fresh for lunch. We’re glad to have found this spot. Food was delicious with great prices. Customers service was good too. We’ll definitely be back!

Chicken club panini was good but not the best, the smoothies were very good. There so many healthy options must come back and try different food. Spotted a salad that look so yummy.

Still one of the best places to eat near Vernon. Quality fresh food made to order. I have had the Monte cristo and even the quarter chicken here. Both absolutely solid. Very cheap too. Order can take a while sometimes because it’s a small staff plus they get tons of orders. Also some of the staff don’t really know how to use the square machines so they need to really train them well.

I came here for lunch today and got the ¼ chicken special and green monster juice. The pricing is just right for the portions and the juice is pretty pretty good. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because the wait was 25 – 30 minutes. I’d suggest ordering in advance. I’ll definitely be stopping by here more often since it’s right around the corner from my office.

This place is the best thing that has happened to me throughout my time working in Vernon! Their food is super healthy and real. Super affordable. Their juices are delicious. And they are soooo fast at delivering.
My coworker and I order from here almost everyday. Our faves:
— Chicken Pesto Panini
— Southwest Panini
— Bbq chicken flatbread
Plus everyone who works here is super nice.

Cute little restaurant hidden in a nice shopping center in Huntington Park. I had the egg sandwich with avocado today and it was HEAVEN! I definitely recommend this place. There’s a clean laundromat right next door and I washed my clothes while I ate my breakfast.
I can’t wait to go back and try other options; like the chicken panini or salad! Maybe I’ll go next week to do my laundry and enjoy a nice salad and chicken sandwich.

A new haven for those who wish to access organic and non-​gmo food in this particular area of L.A. Owner is very warm and open to making something on the fly if in case you’re interested in changing things up whether it be a salad or wrap.
I highly recommend him and his spot. Lets get more of these organically and farmers market supported resaurants here in the HP.
