So my 3rd time I’ve been here so I decided to try the chocomil. Basically ice and chocomil. I didn’t like it. So I’m going back to the strawberry smoothie. I wish they had one of these Raspado Xpress in South Gate. I gotta drive to Hp for my fix.

Come here mainly for the drinks but their customer service is horrible. One of the girls is really rude by the time she gives me my card she yells next really loud. I come here a lot but I think this will be the last time.

Awesome place with delicious raspados! They are delicious because on a summer day what better way to refreshen up than with a tangy yet sweet treat!!!

I always get tostilocos here and I know that the little cup they put them in makes it seem like it’s a small amount. TRUSTME, IT’S NOT! I love how they cut the fruit because I’m actually able to eat my tostilocos with a spoon/fork without having to struggle with huge chunks of fruit. I personally don’t like when other locations put the Tostitos under all the fruit and stuff because they get soggy but I love that they give you the bag of Tostitos separately here! This is definitely my fave spot to get tostilocos(:

So I went today to check out this place and right when I get to the bottom of my drink to scoop out the mango I find a bobby pin. I am so disgusted. We threw away the rest of our things.

I come here for the Pico De Gallo Raspado – perfect combination of heat and sweet. If it’s a really hot day, then I go for the Fresa Raspado. Get the small size. The medium and large is too much, unless you plan to save a little for later.

I came here because I was craving a raspado and I would say that my vanilla raspado waspretty decent. A little bit too much ice and it could have used some condensed milk to make it all the better. No complaints though! This location is pretty much simple like all the other locations. The staff was friendly… however there was an incident where one of the cups that was meant for the other person I was with ripped and they half-assed a fix by putting another cup under it… which was something I did not agree with. They could have just started over and made a new one. The place looked clean to semi clean there was a place to sit down inside as well the table outside. They close fairly late which is a good thing there’s parking right outside… perhaps it was just this occasion but it wouldn’t stop me from recommending this place if you’re in for a speciality raspado.

I would give it a 5 stars, but the girls that work there aren’t always the friendliest. Not once have I gotten a «hello» from any of them. Also, it is always super hot in there. Like yo, don’t you all sell raspados? Get it together, my raspado is melting cuz I’m in here. With that said, the food there is good, just take it to go. Fresas con crema, chamango and chamafresa is what I stick to, and I recommend all of them!

I used to like this place very much but after my girlfriend told me her tostilocos horror story I will never contemplate going there. Ever! She went in for a couple of raspados and some tostilocos and was waiting for her order to be called, she was standing in from of the person preparing her tostilocos watching her when she noticed a strand of hair fall into the container of «cueritos»(pickled pig skin) then the person preparing her order pushed the hair into the jar and kept preparing her order without even looking a bit worried as to what just happened she even scooped out the hair from the jar when she served her order and then she decided to finally take the hair out. when my gf noticed that she asked the person why she didn’t take it off in the first place and open a new jar and she said she took it out already and looked offended that she had even asked for a refund. If you like surprises in your food definitely give this place a try they’ll even throw a but of attitude your way! Had to give a star in order to post this

I went to this place a few days ago because I purchased a Groupon for 15 dollars and I’m able to get 5 large drinks. I don’t have to get all 5 drinks at the same time. They gave me some kind of card where they cross out the drinks I get until I reach the 5 large drinks. It’s a $ 24.50 value that I got for $ 15.00 on groupon. I only got 2 large drinks which were chamarindo raspado and chamango raspado. They were both refreshing and delicious. The chamarindo was good, but it was a little too spicy and acidic. The chamango was sweet and spicy, but not as spicy as the chamango. It was my first time going to this place. The 2 girls were patient since it was my first time going I wasn’t sure on what to get. The service was fast. They sell a variety of things. For example they sell smoothies, fresas con crema, esquites, raspados, yogurt, and other goodies. There is a table outside and another one inside if you want to sit down and enjoy your dessert. I will definately be coming to this place again and will reccommend it to friends and family. They also have a play machine inside the place where they have stuff animals. We played and won a dog stuffed animal :)

I had their Chamango and Cha-pina. They were As good as you can possibly imagine, especially during a super hot day. My only problems are the parking situation. It’s pretty bad. Also, it was hot and there was no AC. It doesn’t make much sense to walk into an establishment like this and the heat is as unbearable indoors as it is out. Last thing: There are creepers here who probably watch their own daughters take showers so be mindful of that. I came in the late afternoon and maybe that’s when these creepers come out after molesting countless women with their eyes? Who knows.

honestly for a first timer i recommend this place its so good, and just the fact how they make the raspados easy for you by cutting the fruit into little pieces so it’s not a huge mess. It was worth my money and I would defiantly go back again(:

My friend asked me to go with him to get him signed up for his confirmation at the church across the street from here. He said that I would be able to go get Boba down the street at Tony’s. Sure bud, play to my weakness, why don’t you. I’m in. So we get there and I’m in the car waiting for him. I decide to go get something but decided that Tony’s was a bit too far for me to walk in the heat and my phone died so if he came out, he’d have to wait for me. Then I remember that one of my family friend’s posted a picture of something she got here a few months ago and i had been wanting to try it since I pass by anytime I go anywhere really. So I came in here and there weren’t very many people in here. 2 sitting at one of the tables here and that was about it. It’s pretty big and I’d think that during their rush hours it gets pretty packed. The pictures on the wall are really big and bright and very appealing. I wasn’t sure what to get what to get being that it was the first time I had been here. I settled on the Pico De Gallo Raspado since it looked harmless enough. I asked the girl behind the counter what it had in it, she said it was a pineapple raspado, with chamoy, chopped jicama, cucumber, watermelon and crusehd pineapple. Sounds good, gimme one. I will say that $ 5 for it was kind of high when you compare it to the fruit guys by the freeway. But it was really good!!! When I was walking back to the car, I was inspecting it to see what exactly I had gotten myself into. The pineapple was super sweet and juicy, the ice was cold and in big chunks, I like that. It’s better than the regular raspados where the ice is just too small and melts way quick and waters down the drink. The chopped up fruit was yummy and crisp and in small bite size pieces, small enough to go through the xtra wide straw. It’s 6 hours later and I’m craving another one.

On a very hot day a raspado hits the spot. It’s especially welcome when served in a clean and welcoming environment. Wait! There’s more — the raspado was just the tip of the various offerings at «Raspado Xpress.» From Mexican deli fav’s such as «Bionicos,» which is a granola/fruit/yogurt breakfast, to «Fresas con crema,» a yummy combo of fresh strawberries and the Mexican version of «Crème Freche,» and a healthy helping of sweetened condensed milk, this mini-chain has something for most anyone — and more than dessert! On my first visit, I had a very traditional raspado of coconut and strawberry. The flavor combination of coconut with the strawberry gave it a similar flavor to the«Strawberry Crème Frapuccinos» — with an added nuttiness to it. The second time I had a meeting in the downtown area, I went south and again stopped by Raspados Xpress… this time, I tried their pseudo-salad called«Grenuda.» Which is basically julliened or shredded carrots, cucumber and some veggie that was burgundy in color… it reminded me of… never mind. The salad was served with lime juice, salt and the obvious hot-sauce or powder. I stayed away from the last two. And although the first time I went I didn’t notice the stark white walls with oversizes pictures of EVERYTHING on the menu, during the day they can be a little overwhelming(unless you have serious vision problems). Will I be back? Only for the raspados and to maybe try a few other ‘sweet’ things on the menu. Provecho!
