Not fancy But 100% Delicious food and Excellent Service. Favorite dishes have to be agua chiles con callo, pescado sarandeado & the langostinos. To drink the Michelada’s are a must.
I have tried other locations But food and Service of the other locations is not up to par. Las Islas Maria’s in Huntington Park is the place to go.

I came to eat here with my mom. The place was not crowed. The waitress was nice took out order. I ordered a tostada de ceviche de camaron. I was huge and it was delicious. Highly recommend it. The reason Im going this place a 4 star review is because as your eating a lot of people are coming to your table trying to sell oranges, toys, Dvds and even gum. Its annoying when your just trying to enjoy your meal and converse with your family. Also the waitress took over 30 minutes to bring out check mind you the place was nit busy at the time we went. Besides that the food is great. Also they have live people singing spanish song for a fee.

Me my husband and 3 year old daughter love this place. it’s a must on the weekends.. We usually get the same plates all the time. I get the camarones al mojo de ajo w/​extra extra shrimp bc my lo loves shrimp so we share … my hubby gets langostinos… they are so bomb … and we’ll sometimes get empanadas de camarón … bomb … I love this place always great service … only girl waitress so jelly ladies stay away lol… wait and the micheladas are to die for I always get mines with a dark beer… but I’m currently prego… so darn it… I give it 5 stars … only thing I think they should open by 9 instead of ten cause I’m starving lol.

*3.5 A very spacious restaurant. There is a stage for live bands to perform. Plenty of seating. There is also a large bar area. I had the cocktel campechana, and 1 dozen oysters especiales. The service was friendly. THE GREEN SALSA IS VERY SPICY. Mexican music plays on the jukebox when there is not a band playing. The seafood was good. I always drink a michelada which is a cerveza, clamato — (tomato juice and clam broth), lime juice, hot sauce, and a rim of salt. The best time to visit would be weekends.

The food and energy are always good here. My wife and I have tried other marisco places and none compare to this place.
I don’t know that if it’s because she’s from nayaritt… regardless hands down best shrimp in town.

This place has really good food. I usually order the camarones a la diabla, tacos de camarón, empanadas, and tostadas de ceviche. The food is freshly made and has a home made taste. The only thing I don’t enjoy is the ambiance. There are musicians who you can hire to play songs for you. I don’t mind saying no once but they do keep coming around 3 – 4 times. Lately I’ve been ordering for pick up and I don’t have to deal with rude servers or loud music.

My mother is from Nayarit, MX so we always try and go to restaurants that make food the way she does. The shrimp empanadas were amazing! And the green sauce that accompanied them was on point. My bacon wrapped shrimp were tasty and well cooked. Unfortunately my sister said her food was too salty. She did like the horchata, as did I. The environment is friendly and nice. They have parking in the back and it’s easy to find.

Its Pricey, but it is worth it because of the food.
The food is so good, But the service is not.
I had to get up a few times to get the the hostess attention which is not acceptable.
The music that they play here is not my liking but for others i guess its ok.
The musicians kept coming to my table literally every two minutes to see if i wanted them to play it for me. One or two times is ok but more than 5 no thank you.
I know there is more than one location for this Business, so i will try another location next time.

I was scared too try this place because it’s a little weird looking outside but i have to say omg these people know what they are doing. The shrimp cocktail is delicious and the shrimp are huge. I also had the aguachile tostada mmmmm so yummy. We also had the crab legs omg the garlic butter sauce is to die for. So delicios and authentic flavor will be coming back. The service is good and they had a full house. You can tell the sea food is fresh.

So a lo que vamos! La comida esta preparada de una manera muy rica. Yo agarre una Mojara Frita a la diabla! WOW! It was so good. Despite the fact that I hadn’t eaten one in a while, it was really good. I was in there with fingers and all. Con tortillas y le pedí un pedazo de aguacate y me lo trajo rebanado en slices without the peel. It was amazing!!! This place is authentic with the food.

Oh man the food here is amazing! Caldo 7 mares never fails to make my mornings! I come from Burbank just for this delicious dish.
Service is good, the waitresses are polite.
It does get really busy, but that’s what happens when food is amazing.
It’s obviously family owned do not expect a chain restaurant. Have some common sense.
Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I walked in, saw the place and walked out. It’s terribly old and outdated. Run down booths and just grungy looking, let’s just say it wasn’t my cup of tea. I love eating at dives but it’s got to be clean!

Los mejores langostinos que he probado en mi vida! Deliciosos! Ceviche de camaron delicioso, aunque en lo personal me gusta que el camarón haya reposado en el limón solo, no con el pepino y jitomate pues se aguadan mucho. Los precios son muy razonables van de acuerdo a la cantidad y calidad! La mesera Osiris muy amable y servicial! Solía ir al Rincon de Guayabitos pero este es mucho mejor bye al otro! Definitivamente regreso!

I’ve been coming to this place for years!!! I think they are under new management, but it’s still delicious! No other place will make langostinos like Las Islas. The micheladas are hands down the best !!! To bad I can only have 1 due to the salt in them … I’ll wake up swollen the flowing day, but it’s all worth it. oh and don’t forget to try the empanadas de camarón!

The food is 5 stars but I have to take a star away for such poor service. Every time I come here they take the order, bring the food but they never come back to check up on us nor give us our bill. We have to get up and just go to the register. The shrimp empanadas are just like the ones I have when I got to Mexico! The aguachiles have so much flavor! The pescado sarandeado could be better but its still good. The oyster are well prepared. & I love their micheladas! I keep coming back for more even though the service sucks when we are the only customers.
