so I’m driving around thinking of a place to eat lunch. and I see king Pollo I decided to stop. There was not to many people inside so I was a little frightened to say the least. I asked for the lunch special which was ½ a chicken 2 small sides tortilla, salsa and a drink for $ 5.99. I filled my drink and sat down … one min later they called my number(fast service) I looked at my plate and thought this was the wrong order. It was so much food and thought there is no way I’m going to finish all this. I sat down poured my salsa over the chicken and began to dig in… OMG. this is hands down the juiciest, moist, tender chicken I have ever tasted. there was an explosion of flavor in my mouth it was so so so good the skin was crispy and the chicken very moist and flavorful. my two sides were potato salad which was kinda liked a cold coarse mash potato with a bit of mayo. it was OK but not great. The rice was fluffy but could have used a little bit more of season salt. the salsa was good and the tortillas were OK(microwaved) the service was great very friendly Asian lady who I assume is the owner and the restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. I would differently go again maybe even next week some time. but will try the beans instead of the potato salad. one plate could feed two. it was well worth the $ 5.99

This is awesome. My company just had a party. They ordered food from king pollo. 20 chickens with 3 pan size side order just cost under $ 250. It can easily feed 50 of us. Chicken is juicy and tender. Coleslaw was great. We also had Bean and Potato salad. Salsa was especially good. My friend said that they make salsa and chicken on daily basis. I’ll go and get some lunch special next week. ½ chicken, salsa, tortilla, 2 side orders and drink only cost $ 6.00.
