Huntington Park Community Center

Recently used the hall for a party. Overall, I had an ok experience, but they are very unorganized over there. When I arrived to set up, the hall was still dirty even though you pay a 500 cleaning fee to have it cleaned. I had to wait until the guy cleaned it to set up. The blinds in the hall are broken and the ceiling tiles were all loose. We had to fix them even though I had told them a month earlier that I wanted them fixed. The trash is not thrown out regularly and there was fruit flies everywhere, we had to throw our food out because they got into it. To top it off, the power went off during our party and the band couldn’t play for 1 hour. The next day we were supposed to pick up our rental tables and chairs and no one came to open the hall. I waited for hours to see if someone would show up and they didn’t. I had to return the next day again and pick up the rentals.
My guest really liked the place though and it is really big inside and out for a party. The staff was very apologetic and as helpful and they could be.
