History

Established in 1985.

Ten Tigers Kung-​Fu Academy is one of the only Authentic, Traditional Kung-​Fu Academies outside of Chinatown.

Emphasis has always been on passing down not only this Traditional Martial art, but the VALUES associated with its practice. These core values, Respect, Humility, Discipline, Confidence, and Integrity, are introduced on the first lesson, and reinforced throughout the student’s development.

Ten Tigers Kung-​Fu Academy has always been a leader in the community through its involvement in community service, and producing positive role models for children, teens and adults.

Meet the Business Owner

Sifu Rik Kellerman K.

Business Owner

Master Instructor/​Sifu Rik Kellerman has been involved in the Martial Arts for almost 40 years. Although he has attained Black belts in numerous systems, his main area of focus for almost the past 20 years has been Siu-​Lum Hung-​Kuen, or Hung-​Ga Kung-​Fu. Having been involved in tournaments for over two decades, both as a Nationally ranked competitor, and as an official, Sifu Kellerman has been highly sought after as both a Judge and Chief Referee at many competitions. His school, Ten Tigers Kung-​Fu Academy has produced numerous National Champions, and maintains a high standard of excellence. A staunch traditionalist, Sifu Kellerman refuses to compromise his integrity, or dilute his art for the sake of commercialization, which he considers destroying a legacy.
