Over the last 22 years, as I worked my way from esthetician to spa manager and spa owner, I’ve learned what clients want most from their spa experience: Quality. That’s why it’s been my passion to provide the highest quality treatments and products, In my new studio, I can devote my talent, experience and passion for the spa industry to ZenSpaOC.

Julieanna has a passion for all aspects of spa life. It goes with her passion for family, for connection and communication. A devoted mother of three teenagers, Julieanna understands the challenges facing parents today, and sees the relaxation and self-​care that comes from regular spa visits as vital to the overall health of a family. «If Mom and Dad are stressed, their own health suffers. They can’t focus on the needs of their spouse, or their kids. And that stress and frustration spills out into the community,» she says. Because family is so vital to her, she makes sure all her spa guests are treated like cherished family members. «Feeling special, just by itself, is healing,» she says. «I want people to leave their cares at the door. In their time with me, perhaps relaxing and re-​energizing will help them find positive, creative solutions to their problems.» Julieanna adds, «I love seeing relaxed, happy faces when they leave.»

This is still the best spa ever for a top notch massage that is worth every penny!!! I have been going here for quite a while and will continue to do so as long as Scott is working here. He is an absolute professional at what he does. I always leave feeling brand new and can’t thank him enough! Pam, who works in the front is always super sweet as well. Excellent customer service from everyone there! Go see Scott– you won’t regret it!

Visited 3 times all for facials.
First visit was with Jamie; so great and friendly! I found the Spa because it is within walking distance and they accept SpaFinder gift cards.
My next two visits were with Pam. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is also so personable and really makes you feel comfortable. On my first visit, Pam suggested a Pumpkin Enzyme mask (i think it was a mask) She did mention it was about a $ 30 add on which was fine with me. It felt and smelt amazing! It definitely tingled on my skin, not unbearable or anything, but you could tell it was doing work! It left my skin glowing for weeks! During the facial, they do a little shoulder/​neck massage which is incredible. I was so relaxed after this appointment, I left the room with my t shirt on backwards hahaha.
My most recent visit to Pam was just 2 ½ weeks before my wedding. I have multiple skin problems (clogged pores/​blackheads/​bumps/​acne/​dry patches). Pam was so meticulous ensuring she freed every little clogged pore! She really takes the time to understand your skin and finds the best way to treat it. At the end of the facial she recommended a cleanser that she felt would be a great match for my skin issues. Its the PCA Cleanser for oily/​problem skin. She sent me home with a sample. I was reluctant to try it because my skin is so sensitive to new products and my wedding was right around the corner. However, I slowly introduced it to my nightly skin routine with incredible results. I began using it morning and night. By day 4 of the sample, I ran back to ZenSpa and purchased the full sized bottle (only $ 28)! I am so grateful to have been introduced to the perfect match for my problem skin. Thank you Pam!

Had a massage for my birthday today with Pam and the staff was completely awesome! Very nice. Very professional. As a hockey player and referee, your muscles have a tendency to get tight. After having a massage I feel like I could skate all night. You will not be disappointed. They know exactly what they are doing! Thank you So much for the awesome experience!

Love Zen Spa! Have been a long time client. I have been seeing Rose since 2008 for my bikini waxes. She is absolutely wonderful!!! Pam is a sweetheart, everyone is so warm! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! When you walk in you have a great selection of different products to buy and beautiful unique jewelry pieces. There is relaxing zen music playing, it smells wonderful. and you leave feeling refreshed no matter what treatment you get! I absolutely love this place!!! And I love Rose!!!

Rose really helped me understand my 23 year old skin and why I was having breakouts. The whole facial was super relaxing. I’m naturally a tense person and it took me a really long time to just let go and relax. Rose made me feel really comfortable and she did a great job inspecting my skin and making sure I was doing what I needed to do to keep my skin looking fresh. I love where she does not push the products that they sell at the spa. Rose told me to use what I had and how to use them to their full advantages! I will definitely be coming back when I have time to squeeze a spa day!

I have been going to zen spa for years mainly for eyebrow waxing. I give 5 stars mainly for Rose! Rose always makes me feel comfortable and she is always accommodating. I never feel like she is trying to rush me. The whole atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. I never have to deal with a crowd of people and my wait time is not long. The waiting room has a lot of pampering gifts you can look at and buy while you wait. I am also happy that I can make a last minute appt. Maybe one of these days I will book a massage!

had a strained neck and back. called them fist thing this morning and they took me in right away. I had Jessica for my therapist and I she was wonderful. she was very gentle and listened to my concerns. i highly recommend this spa for massages. i will for sure be going back.

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review for my favorite spa! Better late than never I suppose! Let me start off by saying Zen Spa OC is hands down the most amazing spa I have ever been to. I just finished yet another EXCEPTIONAL facial with ROSE. Words do not express how wonderful she is. Not only is she gifted in what she does, but she is knowledgeable, caring, and professional. Rose knows exactly what your skin needs and goes above and beyond my expectations every single time. I have been a faithful client to Rose for about 8 years and would drive far and wide for her services.
We all know skin is ever changing and we might need a new regimen now and again. It just so happens that Rose knows just the right route to take. It’s a good thing too because I definitely get lost now and then but Rose always gets me back on track. I could go on and on about how grateful I am to have Rose in my life but I would probably take up the entire page. With that said, let’s talk about the Spa itself…
Zen Spa OC is clean, cozy, and smells great. I am always offered water upon my arrival because they truly understand the power of hydration. I have purchased many of their products over the years and I have fallen in love with all of them. I usually leave with something new or a regimen staple. All in all, Zen Spa OC is a well thought out business with memorable experiences that will keep you coming back for more. Xoxo

I had come in to get the Zen Signature Massage with my girlfriend the day before Valentines day. I called and asked if there were any available times we could squeeze in, and they in fact were able to get us in, in just a couple hours. We went in, and we’re greeted by who I believe is the owner (very nice lady at the front counter) she knew who we were before we said anything. She had us fill out a quick form and told us it would just be a moment and offered us both some water while we wait. Not 3 minutes later, they were ready for us. I had a guy named Scott and my girlfriend had a woman named Jessica. It was my first time getting a massage, so I was a little skeptical about a guy rubbing my back. But he was very professional and told me what he was going to do before he did it to make sure I was comfortable with it. It was an amazing massage, and I recommend him to anyone looking to loosen up after a long week of work. My girlfriend had told me the woman who massaged her was a little more talkative but she didn’t mind it and actually appreciated the suggestion to use Epsom salt in the bath tub to relax her muscles (because she stresses a lot) she later took a bath with the salt and her muscles did in fact relax a bit more.
Overall, I would rate our visit a 10/​10, 5 stars, and 2 big thumbs up. Extremely satisfied with the results. The pricing was not bad. 75/​hr for the Zen Signature Massage (well worth the money to do at least once a month) everyone was professional and polite.

My sweet wifey surprised me with a massage booking and it couldn’t have come a better time. My back and shoulders were knotted up from computer work and overall stress.
I received a 60 minute relaxation massage from Jessica. She was cordial, professional and attentive to my pressure needs. My only complaint is that it was over too fast! Before I knew it, I was having to rejoin the bright and busy world, well on my way to adding more knots in my back and shoulders! I’ll definitely be coming back to ZenSpa in the next couple months. Awesome!

It’s taken me years to finally gain the courage to find a spa to get all my waxing needs done. I was recommended to Rose and I can’t be anymore pleased with her professionalism and how she just makes you feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable of waxing situations. I came in very nervous and was unsure how things were going to work. Rose walked me through what she was doing and made me feel at ease with the process. She answered all the questions I had and gave me some tips as well, which I appreciated very much! I would say my first time getting a Full Monty wax was a great experience.
I will be returning to Rose for all my waxing needs and will definitely recommend ZenSpaOC to others.

ZenSpaOC is a lovely day spa. It’s perfect for when you want to go to a spa just for a facial or a massage. I’ve always had good facials here, and I will stop by just to buy some of their products (LOVE their orange soufflé face wash).
It’s also a good location for introducing someone to the ‘spa’ experience. I have brought my teenage cousin here and my Mom (who has alzheimers) because I knew they would have a good experience here and the aestheticians would be welcoming and accommodating.

My experience at Zen OC was outstanding! Kristin was my esthetician. I went in for a brow and lip wax — my preference is thicker more natural looking brows with clean lines.
It’s usually really challenging to get more full brows with great clean shape but Kristin did it! Yay!
As far as skill she’s A++
Pain level 3 (outa 10 which is to say — for waxing she’s got the right product and the right touch).
If you have not figured it out — I’m really happy with the whole experience.
As far as atmosphere — surprisingly pleasant. Clean, well designed, charming, and friendly.
Definitely going back!

I have a lot of scar tissue and knots in my back so I went in specifically asking for a neck and back massage. The guy who did my assuage didn’t listen to me at all and gave me a whole body massage, despite me repeatedly saying my neck was still hurting, I didn’t want or need my arms and legs massaged, etc. at the end of the massage, he said, «since it was your first time here, I wanted you to have a full body massage.» He didn’t work in my neck or shoulders enough to get the knots out, only enough to aggravate them more. I walked out of there worse then when I walked in. I couldn’t even turn my neck so I ended up having to call my chiropractor’s massage therapist who got me in for an emergency massage.
I would never get a massage from this place again because he didn’t listen to my needs at all. I know my body and I know what I need.

Rose is the best of the best! Over the years, I’ve had 8 «full monty» bikini waxes with Rose, and she delivers perfection every time! Not one stray hair. And as close to painless as a bikini wax can be. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, even in the most potentially «embarrassing» positions. No wonder ZenSpa wins the Best of the OC Awards all the time! Rose and everyone at ZenSpa are wonderful, genuinely friendly, skilled, discreet and professional. They do wonderful brow waxes, tints, and of course the massages are fantastic too. Don’t let the strip mall location fool ya; this place belongs at the Montage resort.

After weeks of research, I got down to 2 places that I wanted to get a microderm done. I called one place, on a Wednesday, to get a microderm scheduled. They booked it on a following Monday, no questions asked. I was bummed and wanted to get one that week. I called ZenSpaOC and Julieanna (the owner) answered the phone. Before I booked anything, she answered all the questions I had about prices and packages. Then she asked me what products I used. I told her I was on Retin-​A. Julieanna advised me to stop using it, bring in my skincare products and she scheduled an appointment with Annie on Friday.
I was excited to get a microderm done. Friday came, I was greeted by Pam (super-​friendly). The spa was clean, smelled yummy and they carry a wide range of merchandise from jewelry to skin care. And I love to shop! I finally met with Annie. She is awesome! She didn’t want to do the microderm that day because I wasn’t off the Retin-​A long enough. I was bummed BUT at that moment, I knew that she cared about me and my skin.
Annie is very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve had 5 microderms done with Annie and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable… before, during and after the microderm.
I highly recommend this place!

AMAZING!!!
Like Tamara, I also received a Sugar Baby package for Valentines day. It included a scrub, massage, and facial. Here are the descriptions down below:
Sea Scrub– I got to choose from 7 different scrub scents. I choose the delicious guava smelling one. Although I wished she scrubbed a little more, it was still really good. She scrubbed the front on me then turned me over and did the back. This was done intertwined with my massage.
Massage– I asked her to skip on the head massage and focus on my neck and shoulders. I also told her to medium on the strength. She did a pretty good job. I love that the massaging tables are heated. Only thing I would change is stop spending so much time fixing the blanket, sheets and towels and more time actually massaging.
Facial– My favorite! This includes cleansing, steam, extractions, pumpkin peel, and a facial cocktail. Instead of the pumpkin peel, I was originally suppose to have a mocha peel that was stated in the gift certificate. After talking to the facial girl about my skin, she went ahead and choose the pumpkin peel that was better for me. It smelt wonderful! She also mixed a clay mask that was best for my skin. It was so relaxing. And on top of that they give you a neck, should, and hand massage. They even warm your hands up in heated mits while they are being moisturized to soften the skin. They also use hot stones to place underneath you. The whole experience was awesome.
Love love LOVED it here. I had a wonderful time. The spa itself is clean and I was very comfortable. I did not feel rushed and the girls made me feel comfortable. I did purchase an item that was recommended but nothing over priced. My total with tip and the travel sized item was $ 265 total. I did not pay for total since I had a gift certificate but I felt it was very reasonable for what you get. My skin is glowing now and I am all relaxed out. I would come back, especially for a facial and maybe a microdermabrasion.
A week later, I got a thank you note in the mail for coming in. They are so awesome here.
