Best burgrz ever. Order it, thunder style. You won’t regret it! I will be coming back for the Piazza after midnight. They close from 10 – 12. Open back up at midnight and serve pizzas. Yummy!

This review is based off of too separate visits. Came in one day and ordered a burger. Didn’t have high expectations of the place. Small spot with a couple of kids working it. At first I wasn’t thrilled with American Cheese being the only cheese offered but once i had this burger I was actually pleased with it. The burger surprisingly had a lot of flavor and the bun was outstanding. Very good for a simple little burger joint. Five stars! My next visit I decided to try the other thing they do, pizza. It was pouring out so I decided to eat at the restaurant. The pizza is done similar to how you would order a pizza at Pieology or Blaze. I didn’t know that so after I ordered my pepperoni pizza I asked the guy if I could add anything else and he said«Yeah, whatever you want. Since you asked for pepperoni it automatically becomes the unlimited topping pizza». Of course it had already started cooking when he said that. I ordered a soft drink and of course the machine had no ice. When the guy brought my pizza to me it was as hot as the sun. The crust is very thin so it was as limp as a 97 year old man without Viagra. Flavor was so/so. A little burnt and very greasy. I asked him if they had a knife and fork for it and he said«Sorry, we don’t.» Great. So hear I am with a warm soda and a hot soggy pizza with no fork to grab a piece with. Definitely not an enjoyable experience. I should have just left well enough alone and been happy with my burger visit. Burger: 5 stars Pizza: 2 stars Service: 1 star Overall experience: 2 stars. I may be back for a burger but it will defiantly be to go.

I’ve worked down the block from this place a while, and finally decided to give it a go and try some pizza. To be honest, it was super bomb, especially for the price. Definitely not disappointed! Staff was very friendly too, definitely a new go-to lunch spot!

Got a double cheese burger with fries and my wife got a pizza. The cheese burger meat tasted strange. It had a gamy smell and taste to it. Now I like gamy meat like elk and goat but this tasted like something was wrong with it. I still ate it, can’t waste the food, and didn’t get sick but I don’t think I’d go back again. My wives said her pizza weren’t bad and the fries were decent so I gave them a star back. As a huge fan of burgers, I was utterly disappointed in what I ate.

i live locally so i decided to try this place out. i got a cheeseburger combo, it was better than i expected! Got out of there with only spending $ 6 for a decent meal, one of the few places downtown that your able to do that! i would ignore peoples reviews, For the price of a meal at McDonalds you cant expect this place to be something extraordinary, but if your lookin for a decent, quick bite to eat this is your place!

Came in on a slow Saturday afternoon. There was only one other person in line. I ordered a hamburger and after 15 minutes I decided to find out what was taking so long. To my dismay, they had not even started cooking my burger yet. I didn’t want to wait any longer so I asked for my money back, but the staff had no idea how to issue a refund. Finally got my burger after 20 minutes and it was mediocre at best. Don’t waste your time. tl;dr — long wait, incompetent staff, mediocre burger

Honestly ladies, leave your man for this burger, because it’s more fulfilling than he’ll ever be. If you’re on a diet, why the hell are you eating a burger in the first place? Of course you’re gonna give this place bad reviews. Just be fat and happy, geeze. Hands down the best burger I’ve eaten downtown.

I love pizza! When I heard there was a new spot opening up on main I was excited to check it out. However, upon walking into the place I looked around and was not excited any longer. The pizza was being kept warm in one of those heated displays that you see in such places as a gas station. At first glance I was no longer hungry for pizza. In fact I turned around and left. Disappointed.

Great Pizza. I grabbed a slice when walking out of the bars last night, and it blew me away. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and so I drove back the next day to see if it is still good when I am sober… Trust me this pizza might be best in the city. Pepperoni and cheese is the way to go here. Don’t load it up with a ton of toppings. You won’t be disappointed.

so far off to a good start. The pizza is very tasty. Good concept being open super late to feed the people coming out of the bars! Everyone was very nice to us when we were there.

I wish I could give this place a zero… First off I was the only customer in there, and the service was still poor. The girl behind the counter look like she had better things to do other than be there. The food is nothing to write home about or even talk about. The shop is bare and looks like it was thrown together over night. No love in here not with the food and definitely not with the staff. When I was sitting outside eating Thunderz worlds smallest burger, I was hoping that the girl was going to ask me how it was; she didn’t. Oh well… In the restaurant industry we have a saying… Good experience they tell three people, bad experience they tell ten. I guess that’s why there wasn’t a line out the door… Thanks for nothing…

I should be the poster child for Thunder Burgerz! This place is ABSOLUTELY, FREAKINAWESOME! I’ve had the Burgerz(which are to die for) and the Pizza(whole nother convo). The staff is GREAT and they even know my burger WITHOUT me having to tell them(show how much I go there). I will continue to be a supporter of this establishment… ABSOLUTELYFABULOUS!!! Keep up the GREAT work!!! And whoever the owner is, GREAT concept!!!

Was too hungry to get a shot of my pepperoni pizza slice last night… but it was pretty darn satisfying. 5 bucks get you a nice giant size slice of pizza. I was also pretty glad these guys were open late. One of the few food places that stay open on Main St if you’re craving some food comfort food around 12am. I wish I would’ve noticed their dessert menu because those deep fried Oreos would’ve topped off my night for sure!

The staff is soo friendly! Great food, great prices! Don’t listen to the people complaining about Thunder, they are very new and hire younger staff, it is expected to have problems from the start. BUT, give them time and this place will shine! p. s. Touch screen soda machine: very cool! Plus the promoter is great at her job! Keep doing what you’re doing!

We saw that this place opened up near us so we decided to try it on the way to the beach. We got 2 burgers and fries. The burgers were really yummy and the price was right. It’s like a local in-n-out :) the fries weren’t very crispy though but still tastes all right. Service was very friendly. Keep it up guys! Hope people give this place a try!

I was upset during my experience at this«establishment», I was expecting good service since I was the only one there, but alas I got poor a service from a zombie crew! And adding cheese is about $ 1.00! WOW!

This place has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I’m a local and I went there to try a burger and onion rings and the onion rings are so gross I couldn’t even eat them. I’ve later tried a pizza thinking that maybe that’s what they did better and it was equally horrible, avoid this place at all costs, it will be out of business soon.

While visiting HB we decided to try Thunder Burgerz(spelled with a z) and Pizza. They are newly opened, just by a week someone behind the counter told us. First month or so of a new food business is a lot of trial and error, so I get it. My daughters both orders hamburgers, fries and a drink. The price was right, $ 14 total. However… Both my kids are pretty basic hamburger kids and said their burgers were kind of gross. The fries were decent, and the self serve soda machine was absolutely disgusting. Not sure if the syrup was bad, but they tried 3 different favors, coke, root beer and I think lemonade and all tasted«bad» like not flat, but weird, bad syrupy taste. Service was friendly, but my daughter’s burger was wrongly made 3 times. The younger kids working the counter seemed a little confused. There’s a couple tables for outdoor seating. I hope the business figures it out, wishing them lots of luck, it’s a nice area to own a business.
