Services for Marble, Travertine, and Limestone —

Refinishing and polishing to create a like new surface. This process remove scratches and etches effectively making your surfaces look like new again. We perform these services on all floors, counters, showers, or anywhere else it needs to be refinished.

Deep cleaning services clean the grout and the tile to remove dirt and soiling. The surface is then sealed to help prevent stains.

Repair can include fixing a cracked tile with the appropriate adhesives, filling voids and holes, and spot refinishing or treating surfaces to blend with larger existing surfaces.

Services for tile and grout include deep cleaning as well as grout recoloring using high quality color sealers effectively changing the grout color or simply making it the same color from wall to wall.

Services for granite countertops include repairing cracks, voids, and chip, as well as cleaning and sealing the surface to prevent staining and recaulking the perimeter. We can also help with the caulking around you sinks.

Services for stamped concrete include stripping, recoloring, and sealing.

Services for saltillos or Mexican Paver Tile include deep cleaning, stripping, and recoating as necessary.

I started refinishing natural stone in 1987 when I was 14, a couple of months after I moved to CA from the Midwest. 1994 I started this business with my partner on a shoestring budget. In 2003 we incorporated into Sureshine and grew into the largest refinishing company in the southwest.

But that local «hands on» feel was gone for me. I like being closer to the customer. In 2008 I reduced to a manageable size and dedicated myself to training the best technicians and providing the best service possible to my existing and new clients. The Sureshine team is committed to providing the best value in the industry by creating superior results at a competitive price.

How do we do it?

Our commitment to quality starts with the training that each of our technicians receives, training that is provided by Ted McFadden our owner and nationally recognized stone care expert. Ted has almost 30 years of real stone restoration experience. He has developed ways of refinishing that are used by many of his peers. When many competitors were still in school or cleaning carpets Ted was working with stone to perfect the methods that are used today by stone refinishers around the world.

Ted is currently working with the Marble Institute of America to write the standards for this business. Those standards are to be finished and published by the end of 2015.
