Wow what a terrible experience. The movers badly scratched and damaged at least 5 pieces of our expensive furniture pieces. I have to get bids from furniture refinishers, and make a claim on our insurance. They were really rough with all of our items. We kept telling them to be careful, but it was like they didn’t care. We were at there mercy and they knew it. Throwing things onto and off of the trucks. Most disturbing to us was that they actually stole 5 of my wife’s expensive purses. They went through the boxes while in transit and took them out. These guys were looking for things to take as they were loading and unloading the trucks. They complained all day that they were moving too much. They asked for cash to move all of the items. They basically low balled us and made us feel like they weren’t going to unload all of our items unless we «took care of them». Never ever use this company.

I helped my girlfriend with her move. Her husband was in Miami (working) and he asked me to help her. Another bad thing was that Maggie was pregnant. You won’t believe how complicated it is to deal with pregnant woman. Mike hired SM Moving Services and my main duty was to help with packing and manage movers.
Movers arrived on time and were very nice. When they came I didn’t finish packing and me and Maggie were still packing Kitchen. Movers helped us to finish packing and started loading the truck. Guys packed all furniture with blankets and were very careful. Movers were fast, friendly and efficient.
Movers helped us to unpack and assemble furniture. Maggie were super happy same as I. Thanks to SM Moving Company, special kudos to David, crew lead for great customer service.
