History

Established in 2013.

We launched this May after YEARS (too many to count) of interior design, custom furniture design, design school, finish contracting and theater production experience. Silicate studio is the perfect sum of all of those things and our real passion, to boot.

As a rule, we love creating useful, unique furnishings that organize, and beautify spaces. We are open as a custom furniture design studio and are currently building our catalog and initial line of furniture that will launch early Fall 2013. We are so stoked to be doing this!

Give me a call any time, and I will be happy to tell you a bit more about myself.

Essentially, I have run a long road of theatrical production, furniture production and design, finish and custom millwork contracting and years and years of design school. Plus, I lived in a tent as a surf instructor for a summer, and spent a couple of years in Scotland.

I love the process of creation and have the abilities and experience to make unique, useful, and beautiful things. That is what I am all about.
