The Seaside Strings add a touch of class by providing the finest classical entertainment for your wedding ceremony, party, or special event. Serving all of Southern California, we specialize in string ensembles (usually string quartet or trio) for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and/​or reception. We can perform at any location: Church wedding, hotel wedding, beach wedding, private home… our professional musicians perform wedding ceremony music all over Los Angeles and Orange County.

History

Established in 1993.

Members of the Seaside Strings just recently performed with Regis Philbin at the Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Film Festival on January 7, 2012 for movie stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, Ben Affleck, and Robert Duvall to name a few.

Business Owner

Seaside Strings owner/​cellist, Christopher Christensen, has been performing in orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout Southern California since he graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1993.

Chris’s major music influence comes from his father, James Christensen, who was the musical director and composer for Disneyland from the 1960s — 1980s. His music has inspired millions around the world, including his arrangement and production of the original music from Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade.

Seaside Strings played at our wedding this past weekend on 10÷17÷15. Arguably one my favorite part of the whole event. The trio played perfectly and made the whole ceremony extra special for me. They arrived ahead of schedule, dressed perfectly, and extremely polite. I would hire them over and over again for any occasions. Thank you again for being part of our special day.

I would recommend Seaside Strings to any friend or family member getting married. They played impeccably, hitting every note perfectly. As I walked down the aisle, all the noise and worry in my head was filled with the sweet string melody. These guys are phenomenal! We hired Seaside Strings to play at our Southern California wedding in September and they are fabulous. They were so easy to work with, they made suggestions of classical pieces to be played but were also more than willing to play any other pieces. I recently went to my cousin’s wedding in Huntington beach, and they had this music for the ceremony, and it really does add more feeling to the whole experience.
