5 is not enough! Wish I could give extra stars for our outstanding realtor, Matt Kanoudi. He did such a terrific job for us, and helped us immensely in making our first home purchase. We had such a hard time finding reviews for realtors on Unilocal and Angie’s LIst, so I am writing this to «pay it forward» to all y’all who desire to work with the BEST agent in the OC.
Matt really did go above and beyond for us. And with all the research and client referrals I got on him, going above and beyond is his modus operandi. He is very personable and energetic. And not only is he a broker, he as also worked in real estate finance years before that, so he has lightyears of knowledge on both sides of the deal. And that knowledge and power is only used for the forces of good. He is a very savvy and strong negotiator, but he gets you that amazing deal with a nice and professional style. Matt worked insanely long hours for us. We would always get a reply from him in a timely manner because he has excellent communication skills.
I had received one recommendation letter for Matt that stated that they bought the first home that Matt showed them. As a newbie, I read that part and went pfffft, that’s a rare occurrence. But guess what? We also bought the first home that Matt showed us! It’s not luck, nor is it a rare occurrence — it’s the plain fact that Matt LISTENS to what you want, and he won’t waste your time showing you something that won’t fit your desires. We met Matt and went over what we were looking for in our price range, and then we went to look at the first home on his list for us. JACKPOT! There was our house, right out of the gate. And then he jumped on it for us, negotiated a spectacular deal for us — in a seller’s market with a very tiny inventory nonetheless! Matt was so quick that the house was only listed for 6 days when we won the bid. Well played, Matt, well played indeed!
So, just wanted to put the good word on the street. It’s so very refreshing to find truly honest, dependable, hard-​working people out there whose goal is to help clients in any way they can. Matt is one of those great guys that you’d be lucky to meet. And not only is Matt a terrific person, but he surrounds himself with kind, honest people too. All of his recommendations have been just wonderful, from finance to repair — good people attract good people. And we have been very fortunate indeed to have that chain of greatness find us, and we pass it along knowing we can help others too.
