Renee’s goal is to guide clients with their fitness goals, whether they be to lose weight, eat better, lower stress, increase flexibility, gain strength, or a little bit of everything. Renee works one on one or with groups. She teaches strength training at a gym, teaches yoga, and hosts an affordable outdoor boot camp twice a week

History

Established in 2002.

Renee has been certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) since 2002 and continues to take classes and learn about fitness and health. She spends extra time researching special conditions each individual client has.

Business Owner

Living a sedentary life with a diet of fast food and midwest cooking left me overweight and tired by age 18. A diagnosis of Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FM) at age 16, at a time when very little was known about the condition, meant it was time to either start taking better care of myself, or continue the way I was living and accept a life of pain, fatigue, obesity, disability and medication. It was time to make some changes.

At age 18 I moved to California and began a new life. At 21, I got a job working the front desk at a gym. Working in the gym environment exposed me to a world of knowledge I was not familiar with growing up. I asked the trainers who worked at the gym every question I could think of. I got so hooked on exercising and eating right that, after some time, I lost the extra weight and my Fibromyalgia symptoms have been manageable since.
