Procare Medical Walk In

Absolutely incompetent staff! My husband and I tried for months to get a referral, per our insurance. They claimed we weren’t in their system? Kept telling me it was Aetna, but caught them in several lies on a three way conference call! They don’t want to do the necessary paper work! Don’t waste your time or money! Extremely frustrating!

I had a work place accident and was sent to this place by my employer. Doctors took x-​rays and told me I did not have an injury, just arthritis in my back. They offered a prescription for pain and sent me back to work. I returned to the clinic several times for physical therapy and asked for a MRI scan and the company and insurance company dragged their feet for 3 weeks while I waited patiently. I got tired of waiting because I knew I had an injury. I went to see an attorney and the very next day I received a call from the imaging center telling me the scan had been approved. The MRI showed that I had a back injury. That really made me angry that the Doctors at the clinic hid the truth from me. They basically side with the employer to get a steady stream of patients to stay in business. Do yourself a favor and go to a NON company Doctor and get another opinion. Do not trust these people or your company.

I’ve had a good experience with Procare. (It stood out especially because I had come from another clinic that truly embodied DMV like care. 3 hours wasted and an idiot doctor.) At Procare I was seen right away and the PA was very helpful. The technician took the time to joke with me and hear about my accident. The front staff was competent and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible terrible place. *shudders* I came here, despite the bad reviews, because I was on a very tight time crunch, however I ended up leaving the place with an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. This Vietnamese technician came to «help» me, but was overall very abrasive and accusatory when there really was no reason to be. He ended up shamelessly arguing with me until I had to just walk out. I can’t imagine trusting someone/​business to treat my body when they do not posses any basic concept of respect. Save your time/​efforts and go elsewhere.

They were listed as a provider for Aetna and I had a bad cold so I called to see if I could come in as a walk in, little did I know that the physician’s assistant isn’t an Aetna provider so I was charged out of pocket, also charged for an emergency visit and they also charged me for a strep test which I did not get. I have called and emailed them to get my file and no return phone calls or emails. Shame on your Procare for being unprofessional.
