Came by long before the published closing time and it was very most definitely closed. Please fix the hours in Unilocal

Decided to try Primo and ordered an iced chai latte. It was pretty good and I would definitely come back and get more. The barista was pretty nice and helpful. The drink was made quickly since I didn’t have to wait much.

Had just a basic glazed donut and it was ok. Its a 1.50 per donut so it was a bit pricey but then again it is huntington beach. The staff is very friendly and the place is right next to sanchos tacos.

Sorry Primo people, but I still really miss Supreme Donuts and the smiling faces of Wayne and Sally in the morning. :(But, despite my nostalgia, I have somehow now come to also love Primos. The people working here are always really nice, the coffee is good, and the best part… If you bring your own cup coffee is only $ 1.00!!! I can’t think of any other place that has such a good deal on a cup of coffee! Especially good coffee that you can sit and enjoy so close to the beach. I’m officially a fan. :)

Great laid back local place for a drink, a snack and to hang out and visit! Dogs love Primos too! Primos, Sanchos, and the Acai Kjng are together. Only downside is you have to pay each separately but it works out while you wait for what you ordered last.

Thee best acai bowls in Orange County. I love coming here after my workout! I always get the«berry bowl»(granola, blueberries and strawberries) I add honey + goji berries(each add on is .50 cents or $ 1) I crave these heavenly bowls every week. I’ve tried other acai bowls from Jamba Juice and other juice places but no one compares. Packed with antioxidants & tastes amazing and you can’t beat the beautiful view on pch. $ 7/$ 8 totally worth it!

I want to be fair. The drink I purchased tasted good but when I sent them an honest review through my receipt that was emailed to me the response was astonishing… My review started like this: The tea was good but it wasn’t even warm… the kid behind the counter was nice. Business Response: Our water pours at 180 degrees if this was the case in the future notify u would like it hotter don’t be one of the customers who leave bad feed back cause u were lazy to fix it or speak up were not mind reader My response: I was honest. I am not lazy. I would outwork you any day. Don’t ask for reviews if you can’t take them. I was half way down the block before I realized it wasn’t hot. Business Response: U walked a whole block before u noticed it wasn’t warm enough either way this convo is entertaining me ur money was fully refunded and thanks for being a good sport ps no u will never out work me or we would be at ur coffee shop not mine happy New Year make sure u tell all ur friends about us Customer Response: «Thanks for the free tea! haha Business Response: All good next time I’ll make sure it’s hot enough To be fair they credited me my money and gave me a credit which I won’t be able to use since I was visiting for Christmas and was an impromptu getaway for us. I also didn’t expect my money back because I did drink the coffee anyway. I just wanted them to know. What if nobody said anything and then they lost all kinds of business. This is a pretty cute shop and I would have gone back again to give it another shot!

The coffee is really good and the location is perfect. But the staff. Ugh. Today the guy practically threw our coffee at my husband muttering about chasing people around for their drinks. I walk past here every day and every day have to decide if the good coffee will be worth the nasty attitude. Most of the time, it’s not. You would think someone with the good fortune to work in such a fun and beautiful location would be relaxed and happy, not rude and miserable.

Honestly, this is the kind of dessert I love. I got an a so bowl topped with coconut, strawberries and blueberries. It’s light and refreshing flavor is a must have. I’ve also had a bowl with peanut butter which does sweeten and thicken it a lot, but I still appreciate the light acai taste. I really appreciate how this place doesn’t add a ton of sugar so you can actually taste the fruit! Their coffee is also so cheap. 2 $ for a regular and only 1 is you bring your own cup.

All the people that work here are super nice and friendly. The first time I went, a girl working there told me to get a Lavender and Vanilla Latte, and it was so good… I get it everytime! Primo’s has great donuts, especially their crounts, but they’re kinda overpriced… The acai bowls are really good too. Try the Island Style bowl!

Great service, great location, and amazing acai bowls. Their acai bowls have the right consistency, not like other places where they have a smoothie-like consistency. Way better than banzai bowls around the corner. I recommend the Island Style! Come here now!

I’m trying to be fair when rating Primos because I had a great experience when grabbing coffee here because I also got an Acai bowl. The reason I bring this up is that the Acai bowl shop goes under a different business name. We got two iced coffees here for $ 6 a piece which was really steep but the coffee tasted good and cooled us down on a very hot summer morning. I also got a breakfast sandwich(#3) which reminded me of something from McDonalds just fresher and cheesier. Primos is located on PCH and is convenient for anyone that wants to grab a coffee that’s going to/from the beach. They have a lot of outdoor seating and everyone working the booth was friendly. Definitely better than spending money for coffee on main at a franchise location.

Pretty overpriced. I guess you pay for the view? We need more shops like this in the area to start driving their prices down The acai tastes pretty good, while the smoothies do not. The breakfast sandwiches are bite size.

Very friendly staff serving a good selection of coffee drinks and Acai smoothies. Stopped there yesterday while on a meandering path back up to LAX from Newport. We needed a small jolt and a stop to check a couple of important emails. I had seen Primos in the past and Unilocal said they had free wifi. Parking was a little tight so I pulled into the dirt lot next door. Big Hawaiian looking guy came out to make sure we were coming to Primos(or the taco stand). I guess they have a lot of people parking on the lot and heading to the beach. Given I was wearing slacks and a dress shirt, I think he could tell I wasn’t going to the beach, then again I wasn’t dressed like most of his customers. Just then a couple spots opened in the main lot, so I pulled into the paved lot. After that initial strange interaction, I found everyone there to be quite friendly and helpful. The big guy welcomed me and called me «sir». The cute young women behind the counter joked around with us and helped us consider our drink options. They made couple of recommendations which were spot on, joked around with us during the process, talked to us while waiting. One of them could have been Kate Upton’s younger sister and the other two were as cute in their own way. My friend ordered the cold brew and said it was very good. He normally puts cream in his and they accidentally filled it completely full. But after a few sips he decided to keep it black. I went with a more boring Americano — it was made well and with just the right amount of milk added post brew. Sitting outside you could see the beach and ocean. The wifi was free and worked well — so I got a little work done while hanging out and listening to the locals. A few chatted us up, said hi as they walked by, asked us how we were doing, etc. We looked a touch out of place in our business attire, so we seemed to get a little attention. A nice couple on beach cruisers stopped to ask where we were from and chat with us for a bit. There is definitely a summertime So Cal vibe going on here. If you want fast and impersonal service, go to Starbucks. Personally I would take Primos over those other spots any day. Pros — Good coffee — Tantalizing donuts, cronuts, and other non-healthy food — Healthy options for those inclined(Acai bowls and smoothies, …) — Free Wifi — View of palm trees and the beach — Kate Upton’s younger(and more attractive) clone works there — Only steps fro a great taco stand — good local flavor Cons — I had to drive to LAX instead of staying for lunch

I first came here in June with my kids as we just happen to be driving down the PCH. The staff is amazing and happy each time we have visited since the original visit. We love the dude behind the smoothie counter. Great service and good coffee and smoothies! Definitely worth the visit!

The only reasons I’m giving this place two stars instead of one is because a) the workers were very personable and b) the coffee was decent. I was extremely disappointed with my food order, however. I ordered the ham egg and cheese on a croissant. The cheese was one of those processed slices that comes individually wrapped in plastic and the whole thing, croissant included, was clearly microwaved and super soggy. It was tiny too, especially for $ 5, and I was still so hungry after eating it that I had to eat half of my boyfriend’s acai bowl to feel sated. The acai bowl was alright; nothing special. I might come back for the coffee but never again for the food.

While walking around Huntington beach, my hubs was in the mood for coffee and ended up stumbling on PC. He grabbed a large cup of coffee for $ 2.00-not bad… especially for it being on a popular strip and for a tasty cup of coffee. The cup and lid however didn’t hold the coffee very well. We noticed a lot of people walking around with a big cup of acai something or another and thought it came from here, but surprisingly, it wasn’t. But we did notice others eating something similar in a smaller cup. Next time I come back, I definitely plan on trying something off the food menu. I love that this is right next to the beach so it’s a perfect place to people watch, enjoy your drinks/food and/or hang out with friends.

Relaxed coffee and donut place. A bit off downtown but barely. Nice view of the pier from the tables up front. Pretty easy going, a hybrid between a surfer spot and a biker’s rest. Good latte. Very food cronut. Can’t compare to the original NYC cronut but who cares. That’s definitely the local anti Starbucks so go and visit !
